dammit I hate that when your playing the multi you can't have both Hammerburst and Lancer... have to have a fucking shotgun on left side... I don't really like them in the game... also I find it funny that its easier to sniper in multi then in campaign

A team of randoms vs an actual team will always lose, its fact because an actual squad has chemistry. Whereas a team of randoms dont.

Also Renovartio, are you new to Gears? Because the weapon layout has always been an AR and Shotgun. Its like that so that matches can immediately start in mid range firefights to CQC.

Im dead serious, I got done playing like 3 or 4 games with my friend. Lost 2 won 2. But I swear, 75 or 85% of all kills happen at the business end of a Gnasher or Sawed off. People will litreally run, sprint, dodge, even get down and killed just so that they can do that legendary one shot with the stupid shotgun. Bah, im just ranting though. But does anyone else have the same gripes I do when it comes to shotguns?

My only gripe in Gears 3 period is the Sawed-Off. It's irritating how much that weapon caters to every single scrub in Gears now. People can no longer rely on their host and 2piece like Gears 2, so now they need to n00b it out with the Sawed-Off.

Something I've noticed though that's the "go to combo" is Theron Guard and Sawed-Off. For cogs it's Classic Cole and Sawed-Off.

But yeah, it's the only thing in the game that makes me go "Wow.." when I play. But then again, that's what my Lancer is for, that stopping power is amazing.

Well, I'm probably not playing against good players but there are moments where I facepalm when I die to a sawed-off. But majority of the time, I can avoid getting downed or killed by one.

Anyone using the Sawed-Off isnt good. Anyone using the Retro and Sawed-Off combo isnt good as a matter of fact.

I'm not new to the series. I just never played online multi player before =/

I ranked up to 13. I feel no accomplishment. Pretty much every Versus game I was in I would rape and end up with higher score.

then again i think they set it up where you play with guys the same general rank as you. When I tried beast and horde everyone else was high levels =/

Matchmaking will only set up matches of the same or similiar rank when majority of the players that're looking for matches at the same time. If players are partying it up often, matches will tend to be very lopsided.

but yeah I won pretty much all my versus matches... I barely play the game so I figured the guys at my rank would be the same skill level as me... sadly not =/ one game I actually got ALL the kills...

Just completed beast mode on insane. got the savage theron guard :D only had to retry twice.

I really dont like either of the Theron Guards. Actually I never have lol.

Well its another onyx medal as well :D brings my total to 4 so far
