I'd like to get one of the guitar hero games but they're just so darn expensive. When I can find it for $20-$30 with guitar then I'll look into it(so probably guitar hero 1 after GH3 has been out for a year or so). There's really no reason it has to cost as much as it does, Taiko Drum Master was easy to find for $20 with drum and that drum would cost just as much to make as the guitar. Meh, just gotta wait for demand to drop off.

Is it just me, or is GH3 less strict on the timing of your hammers than GH2?

On expert, shit.....maybe 1-2%, lol. I haven't played in so long. I get my butt handed to me on online play. It's funny when you pick expert for that song online and you watch people run away XD.

I've just made the transition into hard. I kept getting raped in the first-tier songs. Eventually i beat Slow Ride and Hit Me With Your Best Shot. Talk Dirty to Me kicked my ass a few times but after I beat it I managed to cruise down to the second or third last tier. I just can't beat that fucking Aerosmith song. It's short but it kills me.

Ha! Victory! I finally stopped sucking and beat "One" on expert. After going deep into the red on the fast triplets, I totally pwned the up and down runs part of the solo and lived!
Now I just need to beat TTFATF and Raining Blood. And the The Devil went down to Georgia. Probably not in that order, but I think TTFATF will be easier for me personally than Jordan, cause I am good at runs but bad at trills, and Jordan had huge sections of trills, whereas TTFATF is more run based. It will probably take a while for me to beat Raining Blood since I don't like the song and thus don't play it often.

The HOPO system is much more lenient in GH3 than GH2. They made it that way because of the HOPO's that are from say, a hold to another hold.
I'm with Lion and still just need to beat Raining Blood and TTFAF, ugh.

I've got the Wii version (works perfectly - my buddy had to return his PS3 version because of star power problems). I'm hoping that they release the GH 1 and 2 songs on a separate disk - I'd pay $30 for that.
