[Ib] - horror adventure game

Hi there, it's been a while since I last came here and since this game isn't in the master-list, I'll go ahead and post it. This game has been released for quite some time now but only started playing after seeing Pewdiepie's video. I am ashamed I didn't discover this sooner.



Ib (pronounced "Eeb," similar to “Eve”) is a freeware horror adventure game by kouri made in RPG Maker 2000.

A young girl named Ib visits an art gallery with her parents.
While observing the many exhibits, she suddenly realizes she is alone.
And in her search for others, she finds things awry in the gallery...

The game is focused on exploration and puzzle-solving.
There are no battles, and it does not demand quick reflexes.
It's designed to be accessible to all kinds of players, so enjoy.

IMO: Even for a short one, it is one of the best games I've ever played mainly because of a very wonderful story. Definitely worth your while!

I actually beat that game a while ago, it was pretty damn good, but VERY short, good thing there is an incentive to replay the game

Never heard of it. Guess I should try it out, at the least. I may be back here to discuss my findings.

I know this game. Watched Cry's Playthrough. I would really love to play this game, but its I dont know how to get it and I am too lazy to get it. I love the story of this. Love Ib the character

Actually thought someone made a game about the horrors of our own IB. I'm not a big fan of horror games but I'll check it out

Why make a game when the reality of how horrifying IB is will always be stranger than fiction?

Also, this looks good. I've been looking for a game to fill in the void left behind by Yume Nikki for quite some time. Amnesia didn't cut it (how anyone found that game scary is beyond me, but maybe it's just because I find it predictable) and I'm more attracted towards games that are creepy rather than just flat out suspense-driven. Will definitely check this out.

Not really horrifying though after I watched a gameplay video. But it's still a good game nonetheless.

It looks just like Yume Nikki, Im definitely giving this game a go.
