I actually still have the dreamcast version....good timesHell yea!
Back in the day, my parents never really let me spend money on video games (you know... those kinda parents... "video games are of the devil" kind?). I had a lot, still, but it was mostly my older brother's games that I'd play...
I remember getting the Dreamcast Magazine and playing the hell out of JSR (or... Jet Grind Radio... such a stupid name for the American release).
I've been looking online for a while to try to find a cheap copy of De La JSR, though. It auto-localizes itself depending on what language your Dreamcast is using.
I have a burned copy (sshhh) though... but I prefer owning games rather than just rips.
Good times indeed, though...

personally jet set radio was a game I played night and day back in the game, I remember I use to eat ice cream sandwiches while playing the demo until I could get the game.

That's awesome ;> I was pretty young when I was playing the demo, so I didn't really, REALLY enjoy the game til I burned De La JSR a few years back (or so).
During the time JSR was out, though, I remember I was more of a closet-case player, because "rollerblading wasn't cool" where I lived... All about those Razor scooters and skateboarding...
I didn't dare tell people I enjoyed playing a game about rollerblading .-.
I really wished I pushed harder to buy the game though ;-;

*puts back* well it's been ported so now is your chance to play it in HD and relive the fact that as a kid somethings were easier to play then they are now

I've had the game over the past week(+1 for PS Plus subscribers) :D
I love that the HD version has the soundtrack from all three of the original US, European, and Japanese versions. I forgot how much I hated Rob Zombie's Dragula.

I miss playing this on the Dreamcast. So fun along with the Floigan brothers. Might get it when I have some money.

WHAAAT!!! I didn't know there was any worth in being a PS+ subscriber!!! When the PSN went down a while back and we all got free PS+ time and some other crap, I didn't even activate anything .-.
Dudeeee, the music in JSR... So fabulous... Freaking Guitar Vader... HNNNGH... Magical Girl ;>
I have the JSR OST on my iPod .-.

I remember playing this game back in the day on my xbox, had a lot of fun until I hit a point where I couldn't find one of the 40-50 graffiti objects in the map in order to advance to the next map.

Yea, the game did have times where it'd get pretty difficult. There's that one level that's pretty much in the middle of a city, and a lot of shit you have to do is high up on the buildings or in really weird places... It sucked. Never got passed that .-.

+there was no such thing as googling back then, NO SUCH THING. Loooollll! Forgot the game was made in the dark ages... Where would we be today without Google?
Anywho, I think JSR HD is a lot better now that there is a second analogue-stick. If the Dreamcast had a second analogue-stick, that would've been the best.
One thing I'm glad about is how a lot of the classics are finally getting ported.
