Well, at least you're trying to learn it.Level 30 and I still can't jungle for shit. I understand exactly how to do it, I'm just garbage at it. I'll take solo top all day long though.
Yeah I just wanted to learn something other than AD so if someone instalocks im not screwed into being that guy who also locks in the same role. So far for me though jungle has been easy since im still in low elo in normals most people don't ward all the time or even have map awareness.
EDIT* I forgot to also say I will add anyone who has wants to play I have few friends who play so I would like more people to play with just PM me that you added me my in game name is: FOXHOUND DELTA

recently, I tried playing some support, pretty fun, but I'm probably not using the right champs, I support with kayle. advice would be nice.

if ya want support better go with soraka, sona or janna.
these 3 ladies are the epitome of what a support char must be...
for kayle i usually play her tanky-ish with the cd reduction boots and eleisa's miracle(for the tenacity), the guinsoo's rageblade and defensive items according to enemies setup....
but i am still lvling my char. at least i can start building up my rune page(s) in 2 lvls or so.

Oh look, League thread. This is relevant to my interests. I've been playing League since about the time Udyr came out, lol. It's been a while. I used to play a lot of AP mid, but lately I find myself to be more of a solo top specialist.
Taric's my personal favorite support, but the reason you don't see a whole lot of him is because when compared to other supports, he's simply not as suited for the role. He's melee based, so unlike Sona, Soraka, and Janna, Taric can't spend his idle time throwing out auto attacks to harass the enemy support or carry.
Additionally, when it comes to heals, Taric is still a bit behind the competition. Imbue heals allies for 60/100/140/180/220 (+0.6 AP) for 80/95/110/125/140 mana, on a 20/19/18/17/16 second cooldown. Soraka, meanwhile, heals allies for 70/140/210/280/350 (+0.45 AP) and grants them 25/50/75/100/125 armor for five seconds, for 80/110/140/170/200 mana on a 20 second cooldown. (20 at all ranks) Although Taric's heal is cheaper, Soraka's heal is more powerful, and it adds additional armor for the next few seconds, which helps mitigate further harass from the enemy carry. Additionally, Taric only has 4.1 mp/5 at level 1, whereas Soraka has 6.8 mp/5; although that doesn't sound like much, it allows her to outlast Taric's heals in most cases, even now that she can't restore her own mana. As for Sona... lol. 40/60/80/100/120 heal for 60/65/70/75/80 mana on a 7 second flat cooldown, which also passively gives nearby allies 3/6/9/12/15 armor and MR for free. Sona heals for smaller amounts in larger frequencies, and for less mana than the other two, giving her arguably the best mana efficiency as a support now that Soraka can no longer self restore.
I could go on about this if you're interested, but I don't think you wanted a wall of text for an answer.

support choices like Lux boggle my mind, what a crappy kill lane.
Being ranged in the laning phase as support is kinda of a meh advantage, especially when the harasser can eat a stun to the face. If we're basing support viablity off of heals only then theres literally no reason to not play soraka, potentially no one can put out as much burst healing as Soraka with QRSummoner. Karma might be able to but who plays Karma in the current meta?
Taric sets up kills, Sona and Soraka just heal the enemy into submission with some minor poke early on. I suppose the answer as to why he's not as used is really simple when I consider the fact that Taric requires taking risks to win the lane or break even when compared to Soraka who just's heal/mana bots, or Sona who just heal bots. Oh well, good thing I prefer jungle/top roles anyways.

Taric is kind of hit and miss, and his heals are infrequent, not as powerful, and cost a lot of his mana. And his passive is completely mismatched--you regain mana for auto attack damage, but you should not be auto attacking creeps as a support in an ideal lane. As much as I love Taric, he needs a bit more love from Riot before you'll start to see him more often.

I enjoy when I have a Taric on my team he is great for a Sivir player to have his kit is a great blend with Sivir's kit in my opinion.

Kind of Important
A ray of Tsunlight.

I almost feel bad about this. Couple of my buddies who are in the military wanted to play a match with me. Since they're always busy and can't play that often, they're both low level, like 6 and 8. I don't know if it's possible to carry any harder than this. I don't care if they were all low level new players, I'm still proud of it.

Holy hell, that's definitely old, just when was that taken? Like a week after the game came out?

Nah, that one's from December of 2010, rofl. Its age definitely shows though; old UI and Zhonya's Ring, which isn't even in the game anymore lol

Your point was made at "Mord" LOL
He did say his friends don't play often, though. One of the first and arguably hardest lessons of League is learning how to itemize situationally and for different characters.

He's also not bad with a Tristana, that stun plus shatter with her rocket jump and explosive shot can net you some early kills.

My summoner name is KT Northfield if anyone is interesting in playing a game or two, lol. I'm on every once in a while.

So, Lulu seems like she's gonna be a lot of fun to play. It's also been a long time since the last support champ was released. She's a must buy for me.

Can't wait to try Cho'gath with 6 stacks on his ult, surge, and Lulu ult.
