Tip 1: Farm minions.
Minions>kills. This is true for several reasons, the most important of which are, 10 minions are worth about 1 champion kill and getting them requires A LOT less effort and resources(if done properly, 1 basic attack).
The easiest way to learn how to last hit(delivering the last attack so you kill the minion and gain gold for it) is IMO by playing Annie and last hitting with her Q spell, since it deals more damage than most standard attacks at low levels and returns mana for kills so it's kind of a reward system.
If not, just know that you should not let your champion attack minions freely, but instead walk around the minions and try to only get the last hit needed to kill it.
Tip 2: Buy wards. And place them, obviously.
You don't actually need to do this until you've played some games and leveled up to at least 10 or 15 where people start ganking, but map awareness not only saves lives, but wins games.
You have no idea how many lives I saved the first time I took Clairvoyance on Poppy(it was in a guide, what?). I began valuing it above all other spells and taking it on champions it really doesn't make much sense on, like Akali and Nidalee(though it does have it's uses on them) I then discovered I can do pretty much the same with wards and decided that 75g really isn't that much for one ward.
That's about all you need to know. Play some champions, learn the basics, don't play vs AI games and you'll grow into a fine 2k elo player in no time ^^

I think he's trying to point out to us that he divided his group of friends into guys, girls and the ones that haven't decided what they want to be yet.

Brand vs Leblanc. What do.If you are insistent on such a poor poor lane-up, I recommend a Doran Ring. Just try not to die.

It's really more of a who-gets-their-combo-off-first thing, though I'd say Blanc has it a bit easier cause hers are easier to aim most of the time and she can dodge easier too. She can also counter harass Brand's harass by simply jumping out of his skillshot's way towards him and nuking him to oblivion.
I'd say boots +3 pots in both cases.
Boots for Blanc so it's easier to dodge Brand's harass since it's almost all skillshot based, and the pots really help for whenever you get hit so you at least have some hope of surviving his full combo.
The boots don't do that much for Brand, except for maybe getting out of range of her full combo. She either hits with them or misses and you more or less have nothing to do with it. The pots are the important part, since you're gonna want to heal back up once you do get hit. Since boots+pots is the common starting setup that lets you buy the most pots without wasting money on any unorthodox items, this is the starting setup you should take

MLG Providence is fast approaching, so now is your chance to enlist your team in the MLG Providence Qualifiers! Your team can battle it out for the chance to win a trip to the main event in Providence, Rhode Island, where you’ll compete for the $15,000 grand prize!
Oh, wow. That's where I live.
Also, Tsujoi, what category am I in?

I think I put you in the girls category or undecided with TMS.

Kassadin is a horrible laner though. Maybe a pusher like Malza so she gets pushed to the turret and outfarmed?
Akali does not like silence. Or the snare. Or all the jumping around. Or the burst. She's not that good a farmer either. Horrible counter pick.
Morgana could work. She can easily push her to the turret and she can negate a lot of her damage and cc with her shield. She can also stop her from jumping around if she can hit a Q before she does. Probably the best pick out of the ones listed.

Spoiler:
Here's how it went down:
I killed Brand twice in a row, although he did score first blood. The second time I had very low health and Noc came to gank me, luckily I manged to score a double kill off him. So I was doing pretty good, even with Garen AFK, and I felt like we might be able to win even though it was 4v5. But alas, it was not to be.
Tryndamere somehow manged to die 9 times before the 15 min mark and loss his tower to the enemy Tryn. Despite fighting hard and valiantly (with the exception of Tryndamere who spent the entire fucking game farming and trying to split push), there were simply not enough of us to pull through.

Really? I've barely seen her... she doesn't have much presence in game either. At least not in my games
