I never said he's building her wrong... Rylai used to be her first core item but now even high elo people often rush Gunblade first. Should be built according to what you need anyway, like Pennlocke said. GA is a great anti-aggro item. Even if it only prevents one death people sometimes completely stop focusing you because it.

ELO in LoL is worthless and ppl like you seriously need to stfu about it. It just makes my dick harder. But getting gunblade (or at least some part to it) is generally what some ppl do (like how I usually don't rush my RoA till I get my Boots of Swiftness). I mean I play with Pen all the time and majority of the time he get gunblade asap of course he'll buy other items he needs along the way.

All in all honestly I wouldn't prioritize rylais over GA if I know im getting focused in a tf because think about it....rylais (extra ap and hp) =/= GA (armor and mr) honestly a good player knows what to get first in a big team fight even if you're fed up teh butt.

"People like you"... I only mentioned it now. I agree, it's true that ELO doesn't actually say much about individual skill and it's also true that there are probably some bad players up there right now, but so are a lot of the good players who play ranked. If you managed to get up there then you're probably better at the game than most other people, especially considering most people can't climb out of the 1300s.

You prioritize the item you need that's gonna help you win. If that's GA then you f-ing get GA. Building your champion exactly the same way every game you play him/her = you probably deserve the losses you have

Once again had a team that fed so bad. Well not that bad. Good that I got lucky with my ulti against the bot lane. I played mid btw. I don't usually build Ezreal as an attack speed too btw.

i never noticed this thread before lol, i'm a lvl 30 summoner named goldhart in the US server and my favorite heroes are Master yi, Jax, Tryndamere and other melee dps :D, if anyone wanna play hook me up :)

Had a 2v1 against Yi and Trynd, everyone full health and everyone with ults ready, I killed them both and survived.

Yes, me. I used to main her for a long time. Believe me, I know Akali games that end on the 20 minute mark. They were games where I got totally fed in the first 10 minutes. Almost never did a game last long enough for me to get Rabadon's Deathcap(which would've been my third item not counting boots) and most ended before I even completed Lich Bane(my second item, Rylai my first btw). I then realised just how bad I still was because people on solo lanes still didn't learn that it's not the best idea to stand in melee range if I mark them. Once you start playing people that know that, things start going a bit differently and games last longer.

Rushing Gunblade or at least a Revolver on Akali these days is prefered because of the sustain the spellvamp and lifesteal gives you in lane. This is largely so because the game shifted away from bulky unkillable solo top to infinite sustain solo top (bulky if possible... which most champions with sustain already are). A Giant's Belt is nice and so is Rylai's permaslow but with all the poke the extra hp won't last you for long. You lose a bit of life here and a bit of life there and suddenly, after only a few minutes, you're porting back to base again. Also, the slow from Gunblade is just as good (in fact it slows for more) and you only really need it for one person(AND the cd's not that bad).

First game with a fakkuza, getting fed for the win.

Thought they nerfed Morde pretty hard a couple of patches ago. Haven't seen him around much since then.

guys what is a good melee champion with decent hp and dmg

Gangplank, Jarvan, lee sin, nasus, nocturne, olaf, renekton, shyvana, trundle, udyr, volibear, wukong.

Here are champs that are melee, tanky and have good damage.

Those guys are just too tanky XD but Xin Zhao is pretty good but you definately need the runes and whatnot for him to make him good.
