And then I decided I liked top lane better since I like playing bullies in lane and she can bully pretty well. Of course this was well before m5 debuted their shyvana player. Shyvana is actually the only champ I bought on release along with both of her skins (I love dragon girls, couldn't pass it up). I intended to do the same with Ahri, but they changed her design slightly and her disposition isn't what I thought it would be.

I've played Shyvana both Jungle and Top since she was out, I also bought her the first day, but seeing M5 playing her blew my mind. Aggressive = best way to play. That Noc had no idea what was going on. XD

I'd say Shyvana is one of the most versatile heroes in the current pool. Shes an amazing duelist and a beast of a tank, and can be played so many different roles.

I still remember my early games with shyvana. I always jungled her but then one day, I don't exactly remember who I was, may have been Jarvan, Irelia or GP, but her burnout damage complete raped me when I went to 1v1. So I decided to try her in top lane for once and much like Rumble's flamespitter, she can easily bully most champs out of lane if she tries to 1v1. Then it was all a matter of figuring out a correct build(mind you that this was within the first week she came out and people were still testing out builds) Eventually I came across the build Wriggle/wits end depending who i lane against, followed by phage, aegis, atmas.

Yeah, her "W" deals insane damage, and the 15% Armor Reduce on her "E" is just...❤ I usually go Wriggles -> Whatever. My final build is something like: Zerk/Merc Boots, Wriggles, Wit's End, Warmog, Atma's, Frozen Mallet and Either some MR or the new chain lightning item(Ionic Spark?).

Unless their AP is really fed, I dont really ever found myself buying anymore MR item pass wits and mercury with my ult and MR blue. The Ionic spark was pretty nice since it makes Shyvana Dragon Q even better being able to hit multiple target twice so you can easily proc it 2 or 3 time in one cast.

Can't say wether to recommend it on her since I only played her in free week (did pretty well surprisingly in the jungle) and haven't try any other build cept for wriggle, wits end, ionic spark and omen.

Yeah, I've only tried it in one game, and it had great synergy with her Q. And buying MR always comes down to if their AP is fed or not, as you said. I usually don't go MR, since I run MRpLVL runes, I end up with 100+ MR at level 11 because of the beast Ult she has.

I've not yet tried to run her as a AD carry top lane. Thinking she could do some hurt with Black Cleaver, Ionic Spark and a PD. Of course this will probably be nowhere as good as semi-tank Shyv, but who knows!

I felt the same way. I also the first thing that came to mind was "I hope she doesn't get nerfed because of this shit."

I prefer Ironscale(or w/e it's called) Shyvana than Boneclaw, though.

Speaking of Shyvana, my buddy nagged me into dusting her off and playing her again. This was one of those kind of builds where I had too much gold to know what to do with cause the game took awhile.

Usually, it's something along the lines of Wriggle's Latern (That I always replace late game anyway, usually into The Bloodthirster) Berserker's Greaves, Cloak and Dagger (Just now started using this on Irelia, works wonders early game, gives you that tenacity and allows you to get Berserker's Greaves for that extra attack speed) Wit's End, Frozen Mallet, and the rest I build according to their team.

Makes me wonder why I ever stopped playing her at all.

Demacia > Every other champion.

As someone who generally takes top lane now I find Shyv is pretty hard to deal with, W+Q is hard to exchange with. But it's ok, Rumble is even harder to deal with.

I almost never take top. I usually mid, ranged AD bot, tank/support bot, or jungle with a tank.

Vlad is a bit annoying in mid to deal with with Kassadin cause of Vlad's sustain... but otherwise, I pretty much take any other AP carry in mid.

What do you do when the you get counter picked when a GP or a Panth comes mid and something else goes top?

I was actually surprised you won that game, until I saw Nid. Nice items though, exactly what I wanted to try on her sometime. :x

You have to remember if GP or Panth goes mid they usually counter themselves, because a GP or Panth has no chance against most AP carries. And Shyvana doesn't fail against AP top, I've been against Sion a couple of times and Brand a few, just started with MR instead of armor, worked out well.

Reason why Riot shouldn't nerf Lee sin.

They're taking out the 4 percent of crit in the offense tree. Am I happy that I'm not getting trolled anymore or sad that I can't troll anymore.

Also, Lee Sin nerfs, to flurry and Q.

In exchange, Ad carry late game get even more buff, trynda will hit harder, and more QQ come in the variation of "OMG WHY YOU BUFF AD CARRY RIOT".

I swear to god if they dont put shen buff in the next patch, im gonna go manhunter on Riot team.
