Lots of people underestimate this game because of how funny the characters and the combos look but personally, this is still a solid fighter for me.

Just got DoA Dimensions on the 3DS. Haven't really spent too much time learning the ins and outs of DoA but hopefully this'll get me started.

Having fun with DoA5 and TTT2 on my PS3. Get on it.

Now adding King of Fighters 13 to my fighting list since it became a free download for Playstation Plus members, going to be in the lab for a bit with this game until anyone is up to sparring.

Tried playing KoF13 with Cap'n R today. Lagged hard, lost every round.....it was still TOO awesome!

I guess i just like Anime-like 2D fighting games in general because if i had a losing streak like that in SSF4, i'd be pissed.

Yeah, I've been a hardcore fan of KOF's 2D style through the years, and 13 has the best presentation of the cast yet, I was glad they made this a free download before I was going to waste money to buy it.

Sadly though, I heard and found out that the online connections in KOF13 is the only thing that kinds of ruins the game, (aside from the Trial modes) even though it's sooo good, you must have very good ones for good matches. I had some matches with one of my friends yesterday and had some lag free, good set of fights, but inputs for moves in this game require strict accordination.

Spending time in the trial mode and practice room should familiarize me with the game's new mechanics and character combos, I suggest you should do the same too.

My PS+ subscription literally expired the day before it became free, so I'll go buy it on my next paycheck since it's 40 bucks.

DoA is a lot more fun to play than I thought it would be. Not really going to get real competitive tournament play with that game, but it's are real nice FG that I can enjoy without the frustrations that FGs usually bring me when I'm doing real poor on those certain occasions.

I'm not that competetive either. Just made up a combo with Akira.... 12 Hits 120 DMG, Akira y u so addictive T_T

Try telling that to some actual KoF player. They're all pissed that the game has left out too many key characters of other titles like 2k2.

2k2 is a dream match, similar to what 98 did. Getting all the characters living or dead in the storyline and put them in the game. Anyone who is a "fan" of KOF should know that there are dream matches in the series. Since XIII is a game based on story, it isn't going to have the amazing roster a lot of people want. Although it is a gripe that the roster is still small for a KOF game, but storywise, it makes sense.

Well, considering what happened in KOF 2003 and XI, people should have been prepared more or less about the cast change for XIII, I too was disappointed that some of the mainstays didn't come back, but remember that other characters were missing in action too made their return in this game as well. And the game was meant to close up the Ash saga, meaning only the key characters for its story have to make it into this game.

Personally, I missed 2k2, but it really doesn't stack to its updated version, Ultimate Match 2002 with the added Kyo clones, Kusanagi FTW.

I played fighting games in the past as a kid but Im starting to get into it only now so if anybody wants to play for fun I live in Hawaii, US The post below might be a bit long because Im not too familiar with fighting terms to describe skill level :(

King of Fighters 13

Xbox 360: MMD LenKagamine

King of Fighters 13: Can only do simple combos or none at all. Only 2 characters I can do an HD combo only because the inputs are easy but I usually mess it up in a real match. I use about 10 characters but my favorites to use are Mai, Nests Style Kyo, and Athena

Persona 4 Arena: Its been a while since I last played but I still remember how to do combos without mashing X like most people do but not super huge combos. I usually use Yukiko and Shadow Labrys

Dead or Alive 5: Im new to the series so Im still learning. I use Helena almost all the time if not I usually go with Sarah, Rig or Kasumi.

Blazblue CSE: I jumped into Blazblue through this game but dont worry I actually know how to play the game well enough although I cant pull off super huge combos or rapid combos. I mostly use Lambda 11 but sometimes I use Ragna and Tager.
