Ok here's the story. I moved from my old dorm into the new one lol, and this new dorm doesn't seem to have any internet....availability. I'm down to my 3G USB connection again , and because of that, the majority of my PS3 games just suddenly became useless *since 95% of them are multiplayer games* I doubt that i'll be able to get my PS3 connected anytime soon so....
i would like to ask for the F! community for some game directions.
Requirements:
The game must be a *Single Player* oriented with no multiplayer capabilities.
Preferably RPG/jRPG *any other genre will work too except for strategies*
Good replayability and a Long enough Campaign.
Lowest ammout of bugs/glitches *i don't want ppl to ask me to play Fallout NV*
Date of release is unimportant *i'll play any Old sh*t that you will throw at me, in fact i'm more interested in something OLD rather than new since the new games don't seem to be that good*
Hope for your assistance and await some feedback. Thank you in advance.

Mustn't Run Away...
Go play disgaea 3...that should keep you busy for awhile, and if that's not to your fancy demon souls is pretty great, and freakishly long if played properly

All your requirements are met with Final Fantasy XIII. Screw the naysayers, the game is not bad as nearly as fans claim it is. It has an awesome story, simple but complex battle system, no bugs or glitches, and even though its kind of a recent game it is cheap. After you beat the final boss, you can still do side quests, so go forth young Meowth!

Ill say both Mass Effect games (granted part 2 is the superior of the games). And I speak out of fanboyism, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. I will forever love that game and a pox on all who denied us a KOTOR3 and gave us a stupid MMO.

Nice but, i would advice against PC games due to my PC being weak as F**k.

System Shock 2
Deus Ex
Civilization IV/V (I know you don't like strategy but this shit will keep you hooked for MONTHS)
If you can't run the new versions Civ: Call to Power 2 is a good alternative relatively accessible and easy to play, avoid Civ 3 like the plague it's notoriously hard unless you're good.

Well i don't like strategy for consoles *without a mouse it's not as enjoyable*
Civ is ok but last time i saw it, it looked damn complicated.
System Shock 2 doesn't seem to work on my PC i dunno why.
i might look into Deus Ex.

Seriously, my old Dual Core desktop with onboard graphic card can play this and yours should too.

despite anything bad you may have heard about them i reccommend ff12 and 13.
also you should play legend of dragoon. it's an old game(ps1) but it has a wonderful story, and it's 4 discs long, so it'll keep you occupied. plus it's got faust in it as a bonus boss for people who put way too much time into it.

the Xenosaga series for the ps2, NIER, Record of Agarest War (not sure if it's on ps3 though), and the old final fantasy games on the ps2 and psone. plenty of time to go through those, i hope you have

You said oblivion, but have you played morowwind? i liked it better.
you might try some sports, racing, or RTS games, they can have great replay value. i personaly don't like sports, but i have a madden game i play ocasionaly. it breaks up the monotiny of playing one genre for too long.
maybe get a PSX and some old games. there's some good ones, and they're cheep because they're old.

I liked Civ 3. Granted, I never get a good ranking but there's something magical about nuking the fuck of a rival civilization back to using bows and arrows while you're invading them with mechanized infantry.

[font=Verdana][color=green]Any one of the Assassin's Creed will keep you busy for hours. Even though the new one has multiplayer, it's focus on Singleplayer dominates the multiplayer.

Ok well let's see how it looks so far.
Rep to spectre257 for advicing System Shock 2 which actually gave me some motivation to go and find Both System Shock games that work on XP. Now i can finally see this epic series for myself. In fact i already started the first one and.....it's gorgeous, story seems ok controls are great. The main point of the game that i love are the graphics lol, sure they'r pixelated as f*ck but that seem to appeal to me even more than polished graphics, it gives a more *horror kind* feeling which is awsm.
Beside that i installed Baldur's Gate 1,2*actually i wanted to try BG's multiplayer feature for a while now so if someone willing to play...* Icewind Dale 1,2 and Morrowind.
Sorry to dissapoint Deus Ex fans but the game didn't feel that good for me. Guess i don't like to hide too much.
That being said i guess this will be enough to keep me occupied for some time.
Thank you all for your advices, maybe in the future i'll bump this thread for some more games xD untill then, stay tuned.

Go and play Killzone 2, and when completed you can always play botmatch(FUCK YEAH CS PODBOT, IMMA HAV NO INTERNET) 'till the end of time Killzone 3 comes out.
Also, Uncharted 1-2, Motorstorm 1-2, Alone in the Dark, Resonance of Fate, Brutal Legend, Way of the Samurai<...>
Or you can buy Xbucks360, pirate it, and have all games of the world.(And have a nice facepalm from my avatar when playing Reach)
