Majikoi (English) (Wanko Patch Get)

Now I've got to wait for Miyako patch... I shouldn't have finished Wanko's route so quickly... but she was just too damn adorable.

I totally want a route that covers the 10 years.

It felt too much like a "farewell" ending :(. I think only Miyako and Wanko have these kind of endings.

I'm having some problems installing the game... I tried to change the system locale to Japanese but after the reset, the startup repair opens and I have to do a system restore in order to boot Windows...needless to say, it boots up in English of course.

I've tried applocale...I try to open the setup.exe with it but an error pops up saying "AppLocale was unable to launch the specified application. Please make sure the application specified is valid." (Is this the way to do it?)

Any help would be awesome.

Yes. I want to see how Kazuko became such a mature woman.
As a side note, I want a route that covers the entire group's childhood/upbringing. I'd imagine that it would be very interesting. God, Chris would be such a bratty little kid. And more of how Yamato's dad educated him.

Something is very wrong if changing your system to Japanese initiates a system restore... I would try changing the system to Japanese again to see if the problem persists. If it does, Google the problem and see if there is a solution. I've never used AppLocale myself, so I can't help. I just find Applocale too clunky.

Thanks for the reply, mate. I was finally successful in installing it with AppLocale by using it with elevated privileges...but yeah, the other problem persists and I can't find anything suitable on google, I tried, believe me. ;)

That's what I forgot to mention. Running things as admin solves a lot of problems. It's rather unfortunately that you can't change your system language. Well, at least you got the game running.

The ryuuzetsuran route covers most of Cap, Gakuto, Moro, Miyako, Kazuko, Momoyo and Yamato's childhood. Well, me not gonna spoil since you seem to be waiting for the patch. I, myself haven't touch ryuuzetsuran route anyway..........Too Lazy, too many VN's end of story.

Oh, I finished all the routes except the guys btw. In case anyone is wondering.....not that anyone would care.

Damn, I'm not sure whether it's just me, but whenever I see Moro in his trap mode, I question my sexuality xD We all been there...haven't we?

Finished Wanko's route :D.. and I really enjoyed it.. though I was expecting it to be funny, it turned out quite the opposite, but nevertheless, It's still very good in my opinion :D.. will wait for Miyako's route now..

And on a side note, finished the Kazuko route....she's been my favorite from the start, and her route just solidified that. Absolutely beautiful, and that ending, I absolutely loved every second of it even the sad bits.

I liked it but is it just me or is wanko's route shorter than the others?

I thought her main route was fairy long, it felt about the same length as Momoyo's, but I'll have to do a playthrough of each to see the times. ( I don't skip any voices or text tho, jus set it on auto and leave it so might take me longer).
Wankos after route however took me like 15min, whereas Momoyos is well over an hour, maybe 2 if you don't skip any voice.
The 2 that felt the longest were True and Momoyo routes, but Momo's after story just took the piss >.>

Mmmm Wanko's route does seem short, but to me, it has the quality for the plot in it. Definitely one of the better routes.

My thoughts on the Kazuko route: I really liked this route as it seemed to actually be more about the character in question than some of the other routes. This route focused less on Yamato and more on Kazuko than other routes for their respective characters. I loved the conflict of her fighting for her dream, even though personally the way the story structured it, I feel that given time she would progress far enough to become the assistant.

When Kazuko and Yamato became a couple, I feel that she became less like herself. She toned down with the excitement and energy. This had a lot to do with her dream being crushed and little to her getting used to being in a relationship I feel, but at the same time the part I liked most about her lessened, with it my joy of having her as a girlfriend. That's not to say that she was all spats, loud noises and running mind you, simply that it reflected negatively on me.

All in all I'd say this was my second favorite route.

The best part of the Kazuko excitement phrases to me is when she goes "YAY! YAY!" and it sounds like "WHY! WHY!". I just loved that.

Also, 2000th post in this thread. So happy everyone likes the game.
