(This was not listed in the "Master List of Video Game Threads V2" and I went ten pages back with the search function and found nothing.)
Now I'm sure a lot of you already know what this game is about. I, for one, am really looking forward to it.
And they have already confirmed that they plan to release DLC galore once the game has launched. Like the previous title you'll be able to download additional heroes and villains to play as. So I was wondering, what characters would you like to play as? They have to be Marvel.

Not being able to play as spider-woman makes me teh sad :(Yeah, I heard about that. At least she makes an appearance. And who knows, maybe they'll release her as downloadable.

Yes...I'm bummed out by that news as well, but I'm hoping for her on DLC.
Anyways...I'm sooo excited for this game! I loved the first one, and the second looks even better, especially with the fusions. I still can't decide who my boyfriend and I are going to have on our team, (since we'll be doing co-op), but I'm pretty sure that we will be trying Anti-registration first.
I'd also like some of the young avengers/runaways as dlc, lol.

But yeah, I wouldn't be too worried about not being able to play as your favorite character. There seems to be a lot of hype surrounding this game and I've only heard good things about it. If it's even remotely successful I'm sure they'll release plenty of DLC.

i hope there is some marvel zombie costumes and maybe a anti venom or carnage costume for venom. there is the new extremely retarded spiderman costume iron man made i hate it so much.

This game plays a lot like the first one. The only noteworthy addition is fusion moves. Some of them are really cool and others are very generic. Sometimes it's just two heroes running around the room flailing at all the badguys.
They also toned down the RPG elements in the game. They are still there, just not as much. But there are a lot of unlockables and with two routes to play through there is replayability. And of course the game is a lot prettier than the first.
So if you dig the first game you'll like this one as well. Some of the voice acting was terrible though.

Yeah, I'm playing through the game right now with my boyfriend. We decided to go pro, (since him and his bro are going to do the anti-campaign). Right now our team is Songbird, Deadpool, Juggernaut, and Gambit. I'm really digging the faster stamina regeneration and the fusions. I also like the conversations, and how your stats are affected by em. My only gripe is that Sentry and She Hulk are ds only...for now.

Nice team. I'm playing the anti-campaign. I've mostly been playing as Iron Fist and I switch the rest of my team up to experiment.

Oh yes. I definitely agree. I dunno...right before we started playing the game, I went and said to my boyfriend: "God, I hope they don't change Spiderman's voice." And well...they did.
At least Steve Blum is Wolverine. That's all I'm concerned about, lol.

Woah, Sentry is on the DS? He's too powerful to be in High-Def.
I'm pretty excited about this, but my 360 unfortunately crapped out on me for the second time recently. Always happens at the best times.

me and my friends have a 4 man team. I play as The Thing, I just had to switch to Deadpool... he hits harder but I did love being immune to almost all damage.

Also how the hell .... Sentry!? Sentry aka Captain america times a million!? How the hell do they get off putting him in any video game.

is how the comic I read described sentries super powers. Isn't a million exploding suns kind of over powered? also theres that whole, any time he throws anything its likely going to be into the god damn sun. even though he could just atomize them like he was the sun... times a million...
I could understand if Sentry was a secret "I just put Sephiroth in every square enix game ever" Kind of thing where you have no god damn hope of winning without allot of practice....
