Considering how much of his acting I have seen, in movies and shows, dating back to"The Lost Boys".
Also, all the snake's have been getting voice actors for years.
Solid = David Hayter
Big Boss = Kiefer Sutherland/Richard Doyle/David Hayter
Liquid/Ocelot = Cam Clarke/Patric Zimmerman
Solidus = John Cygan

My friends will most likely get Xbox One, hurr durr hardcore xbox gamers (they only play halo and cod), so I will ask them to borrow the console over a weekend and buy MGS and then play the game.

Wow, this looks even good as MGS4, or probably better. So much drama and mystery through that trailer, i almost choked seeing Kaz like that.

I actually welcome the change. Kojima said he wanted a(his words not mine) more mature actor to voice our protagonist. Hayter being in his early 40s(44), and Sutherland being in late 40s(46) apparently Sutherland fits the bill better than Hayter.
Note, I don't agree or disagree with Kojima's decision as I find it particularly difficult decision to come to terms with, as our beloved Hayter has been our poster-boy for MGS for decades. But Sutherland does have the American hero persona down pat, so I'm very excited for this despite what all the fans say.

I saw this yesterday as well and the new scenes were a big WTF to me. The clip with the bomb removal came close to grossing me out, that FOX Engine is scarrrrryyyy....

According to Kojima the gameplay we've seen so far was current gen quality and he intends to push the bar even higher with the Xone and PS4.
