Metal Gear Solid (Twin Snakes)

So, I finally manage to buy and play a MGS game for the first time in my life (yes, I'm ashamed of myself). I bought a used Twin Snakes copy since it was pretty cheap and I also heard it's a bit hard to find.

Here are some of my early impression:

Pretty cool game so far. Sneaking around in the snow and making sure you don't leave any footprints behind you was somewhat tedious at first because I didn't know they could give your location away. It was pretty fun once I got the hang of it though. Also, Snake is such a bad ass. Now I finally realized why people loved him so much.

... Yeah.

*goes back to play the game*

The only problem with playing Twin Snakes over the one on the PSone is that all the add ons 2 give wont mean much to you.

Regardless, you have a excellent title in you hands. treasure it because it will become rare some day.

I was just at my local GameStop the other day
and saw that they now have the "MGS Essentials"
out for only 30 bucks...
sooo

if you like twin snakes, might as well pick up
the essentials. It's MGS 1-3 :D

it has one of the most intricately executed

Those were pretty Good Flash videos. He pretty much followed the story line and added a touch of humor to it. I wonder just how long it took him to complete the movies... Makes me wish I had Macromedia Flash MX. Unfortunately I downloaded it but never got around to purchasing it.

Saw the first one maybe a year or two ago...
he makes a lot and each takes a few weeks/months to do I think
if you check his profile, he's at Comic Con etc. etc. :D

Hmm I just finished looking at his page. It looked pretty good; the cosplay video I watched. The whole snake and guard thing seemed to attract attention from other cosplayers though. Anyway thanks for sharing.

does everyone remember johnny, the guard meryl knocks out and steals the clothes off of? well yeah... hes important to the story for some reason, and thats not the last time theyll bump into each other.

Johnny Sasaki! I believe he play an important role on MSG4. But I haven't played the game so I don't know.

They tell you this in the game but most people miss it. Its on the back of the game box on all versons.

Lol when they told me that it's on the back of a box, I thought they meant a box that was somewhere inside the game [In the Metal Gear World]. So I searched for a while and couldn't find it. That's when my guessing began.

MGS likes to do shit like that.

Lol I noticed... especially in Sons of Liberty. Back then when I played it, I wasn't used to it.

It being the metal gear for the original playstation.

At the time no one was, that made it 100 times more awesome.

In the second game...
