Metro 2033

I gotta play through it again so I can get the 'good' ending. Apparently, telling begger children to shove off and executing the same POWs that I was supposed to rescue doesn't really help my cause.

I never even found the POW's, I have to give the game another go =3

It's on the mission "Frontlines", near the end of the level. After you cross the bridge between the Reds and the Nazis you'll get to an area where the tunnel opens into a large chamber with a couple of nazis down below the tracks you're on, standing around a few barrel-fires. Anyway, you'll have to quickly kill the Nazis before they execute the leader of the POWs. After ALL of the Nazis in the area are dead, talk to the Leader of the POWs and he'll thank you and say that they'll head back to their Red allies.

i still wonder how the Nazi gets there...I'm playing it again...any advice how to get the second ending...

Actually, I heard that you're supposed to go around and help all the same people that I ran off and/or executed.

What you want to do is... I'm not sure if that's everything but it should be enough to get the good ending.

This is a game that I heard of a few months back, and was surprised it wasn't in the master list. Initially, it's a 360 exclusive, But I'm downloading it off of steam as we speak.

Pretty much, it takes place in the year 2033, and you're in Moscow. Some nuclear war went up and a bunch of people went into the subway system to survive. Now they're greatest fear are these mutants that roam the surface, and something called the darkones.

The actual game mechanics seem pretty good, and has a lot of good action in it.

The review gets the basic stuff done, but pretty much everyone disagrees with what they guy rated it, most giving the gerneral 8-10.

It wasnt there, the list hasnt been updated for a long time

Well i'm gonna buy Metro 2034....

I had a hell of a time on my first playthrough, the game glitched and I couldnt take off my gas mask, and it was completely broken, I had to wait for the bug fix to be released to play again.

Played it and saw it be played and frankly a very good, even if linear, Fallout in a way. Except your russian now. And the sun doesn't shine so much.
but a great game, and not too expensive on Steam.

Was it just me or did anyone else switch language to Russian in the beginning?
Can't stand English in a Russian game!

Played it on ranger difficulty, and had a blast with it. Great story, gameplay and INSANE graphics. A little frustrating at some times so i recommend playing it on normal or hard.

Everyone should play it atleast once

The Nazis were Russian Skinheads that took shelter in the Metro. The eventually teamed up and took over three stations.

I was so excited to play the game after the THQ giveaway. That was, until the game decided to give me an error that basically said "Your graphics card is piss and therefore I won't run". (I do confess that I only have a meager Intel Chipset in my laptop).

One of my favorite games. Top three in fact. Last light (the sequal) already looks amazing. Getting it as soon as I can.
