@623: It'll be kinda tough if you don't have CC units like archer, witch, and mage. The point is to bottle-neck enemy waves in the intersection while bombarding them with your archers, mages and witch. If your units are high-leveled, you won't even need to put HA at all. My strategy is using 2 archers, 1 mage (well, 2 later on for extra dmg), and 1 witch in the intersection, combined with 1 healer to keep them safe from enemy' archers and witches. Also put Katie to speed up summoning units and Prince for nice buff (and holding off the white goatmen by the end).

In short, need ranged units to kill/weaken the enemies especially the 2 goatmen. I highly doubt any HA can survives against 2 goatmen without proper high-level and bunch of healers.

Or you can just check the video link I posted before and formulate your own strategy based on what you see.

@Azumish: With the fixed numbers of max enemies, kinda hard to deal with Castle Retake now. If you have CC archers, deploy them 1st to deal with swarm of goblins at first. You can try to block the armor with your most powerful HA or duelist combined with healer and witch or mage. Otherwise, try your luck with rogue and her assassin skill. If you have princess, then might as well use her against the armor. Mind you, princess is BAD against lich, though.

Final phase of the event: 20 runs in map 6, 8-10 runs in map 5.
Drops:
- 5 Belinda (2 from 'guaranteed' map 3 and map 6 1st clear)
- 2 Christopher
- 1 Leanne
- 1 platinum fairy, 1 iron fairy
- 2 bronze bandits, 1 bronze archer, 1 bronze mage.

Used 4 Belinda to level up main Belinda: -2 cost, 4/5 skills.

Overall: Decent to Good.

Also, final post. Unless we find another way, any question will be answered via PM or in CTFG (lol).

At long last.... After ohsomany tries....

I can kill lich if it comes out after the wave of goblins/armors, not at the same time of the wave! But thankfully, a tips that I read helped me to coordinate what unit that the lich'll targets when out, so yeah...

Also, DO NOT try Immortal Beast if you don't have:
- CC units... I mean, ALL of your units must be CC'ed aside of Princess
- lv40 or max after CC, along with max affections for females
- Princess (more than 1, preferaby)
- Nanaly (more than 1 will be better) or Bashira (same)
- Valkyries (preferably not Kerry or silver ones, 2 are better though)
- Level 90+ Prince with Savior title on (unless you want him as a duelist).

You can try to peek in, but don't even think you can beat 2 goatmen+waves of goblins and armors+3 LICHES+ dragon without what I've said above.

BTW, next event is scheduled to comes at 3rd April. This time, it's "Completion" event, so you don't need to worry about RNG (though you'll need to little worry about your unit's levels).

PS: Found a way to keep posting for awhile, so yeah.

Welcome aboard, Mr.Satsu. Hope you'll enjoy your stay in this game since it'll be quite grindy and time-consuming than LoV (can't compare it to VC cause I don't really remember much). You might also want to read few posts in this thread to avoid few fatal mistakes that new player tends to commit (like wasting those silver units for exp fodder or wasting sacred crystals for rare or premium summons)...

Also, Azelle said hi for you.

I've already made that mistake, but it's no biggy with me being a perfectionist when it comes to RPGs. So with just aiming for 3 stars on every map I make up for it.

And you're right with this being a massive grind feast - farming for Iron units and bonding items is a real pain.

Congrats on 3 star retake Azelle. I managed to scrape by barely, since I couldn't stop first black knight or lich, so I had to make sure to kill everything but those 2. Farming dragon hunting for exp/fodder units now.

Haha, no worries. Azelle also did same mistake by feeding the silver units for CR and skill up purposes. You better get Katie and Chloris in Drill Sequences 1st before wasting stamina for affection items, though.

Don't forget to save your stamina for monday' daily (less than 8 hours before starting atm) since you'll need those gold armors for gold stashes. Don't worry, 1st level is easy even for beginner as long as you have decent healer, witch, and Katie (mage is a safe-fail here).

Thanks. Took me 10+ tries before able to blast through it. I used 2 CC archers (Soma and Daniella), Belinda, 1 soldier, 1 healer, and Prince to deal with starting waves, with Prince dealing against first black armor.

Fodder unit drops are better in Remnant Vanquish 3, though.

I learned from other games that if a unit has a name, they're useful.

From what I've read in the How To Play, I don't need multiple named units to evolve a card and that I only need them for skill ups. Also, I'm guessing the Spirits of Iron are exp boosts for combinations.

Well....

Actually, for evolve/CC, you'll need at least 1 silver unit of same type as the one that you gonna CC-ing. So most of the time, you'll still need multiple named units (silver and gold units need only 1 silver unit for CC-ing. Platinum and black need 3 silvers of different types).

Spirits are for exp boosts and evolving, but spirit of iron and bronze are not useful as you can't CC iron and bronze units.

Okay, I think I'm getting the idea then.

And just to let you know, that's all the units I currently have.

There'll be time that you need to use iron and bronze units in certain early maps, though I'll let you decide on that. Again, save your silver units until you need them to CC-ing. Level up your archer, witch, mage, and heavy infantry (unless you have Katie) to lv30 for now.

New record for my Monday Daily: 3 platinum armor drops. That's the highest drops so far for me since the launch of Aigis in Nutaku. (10 runs in H map, 2 runs in N map)

So I got a Spirit of Rainbow from the Tuesday Quest E. What does that do? Because it seems like I can only use it on Gold units and higher and it doesn't multiply EXP.

That's for leveling up card's skill with better chance. Given that your chance to skill up from 4/5 to 5/5 is only 5% in normal way, better use the rainbow fairy instead (rainbow fairy chances to skill up at that final phase is 25% instead). I'll post the skill-up chance when I remember later. Again, unless you get lots of them, only use rainbow fairy on units with worthy skill.

There'll be time fairy in the future (still long long away) that can cost-reduce your unit, too.

EDIT: Got my 1st gold unit from Normal summon (aka 2k gold)!!! And who, you ask?

Spoiler:

another HEALER!!!!!!!!!!!!! *headdesk*

After maxing out a CCed Katie and almost maxing a silver healer and platinum valkyrie, I appreciate the daily gold reward from stamp card more. Wish I'd gotten more than 1 exp armor this week, maybe better luck next week.

Since I've promised to post about comparison between using same units to skill-leveling and rainbow fairy, here it is:

Regular Unit: 100%, 50%, 25%, 5%
Rainbow Fairy: 100%, 75%, 50%, 25%

Skill 1/5: 2/5, 3/5, 4/5, 5/5
Skill 1/10: 2/10, 3/10-5/10, 6/10-9/10, 10/10
Skill 1/16: 2/16, 3/16-8/16, 9/16-15/16, 16/16

Rainbow Fairy and Unit Comparison:

Skill Blue (i.e. 2/5>3/5):
2 units: 75%

Skill Orange (i.e. 3/5>4/5):
2 units: 43%; 3 units: 57%

Skill Max (i.e. 4/5>5/5):
4 units: 18%; 5 units: 22%; 6* units: 26%, 12 units: 45.9%, 20 units: 64%
*Event Unit (70/7 map); 6 sacred crystals (14stam rank 120~139): 0.56** rainbow fairies (30/3 Spirit Rescue Mid-tier 28 trips)
**1.12 with Seria (platinum bandit); 1.4 with AW Seria

The original text has colors to differentiate, but we know Fakku no longer has colorful font (aside of green), so yeah....

Got my first gold from normal summons. Archer with double shot.

So lucky... Meanwhile, me and my sister drowned with Healers here and there.

EDIT: Against our better judgement, I just burned my Demon Crystals to get Fairy Queen Chydis! Now I'm drowned even more with healers... (hint: 2 plats, 2 golds, and 4 silvers atm).

Luck is a relative thing, I have 2 silver and a gold healer so far. I've gotten a total of 6 copies of leanne since that's the only thing above 2 star I've gotten from normal summon besides the archer. I'm saving for chydis, about halfway there, since I have a gold mage from a premium summon already.
