how to get a custom paint, your team needs to win 2 times and you must placed 1st in the ranking.Things never go according to my plan... I will never get this unless I get a team with strong communicating friends.
And there's also the "Kick happy" Room makers..

i already have my strong communication team and sometimes,we're just playing around while keeping the score high.
for the kicking, usually it's because some room have their own rule and the room maker wants it to be a 4vs4/5vs5 room like my usual team does.

the only way to solve this making my own room.

ow.
that's kinda normal then.lol.
if you're making a room and wants to have lots of wins,do a 4vs4/5vs5 battle.easier and not much of a hassle.

Ground Type GM's ability to DO A BARREL ROLL is priceless.
with that, I can duel 1vs1 more easily.

I finally tried the Desert Map today. It's more better than the first map since it's 10x bigger and I finally bombed a fucking base today, while also capturing 3 camps, murdering 2 Zaku's, and preventing our base from getting blown up which got me 1st place on my team. I love using the new MS I got.

Won all three of my games today and I finally got my first rank up. I also figured out how to use the scope and repair my mech.

i'm sorry for nitpicking but sometimes when you're advancing, you're pretty oblivious to your surroundings despite you're using GM Cannon.even though that type's strong to the all rounder type like normal zaku but their machineguns can do pretty great damage to your ms.good thing you got me as a back up.
and for how using the shield,i don't know either but i think it's automatically used for holding the damages that you got until it reached it's won HP.
and how's your feeling of having 4VS4 matches along with Kaimax?
i always do that when i'm in Zeon Faction for racking up easier exp and points and by that,we can get more active and aware than usual 6VS6 matches.

Shield is used automatically, if a shot hit the shield the damage will be reduced.
I don't have any problem with 4vs4, the only problem I have is when teammates doesn't come back and support.
Like last time when I got 0 points in our last game. I was genuinely pissed
-You and another guy went into the canyon, So I decided to not go into there, because 3 people is too much, and that means I'm leaving zeriam alone in the open desert. So I decided to at least stay close to him. But when 2 MS appeared to fight us, zeriam just kept marching forward, leaving me behind with 2 MS to handle. in result the ratio was split into 3vs2 and 2vs1 and I didn't get to do anything that round.
If 4vs4 means racking up point because you leave one guy behind as a sacrificial lamb then I won't ever get to like it. My teamplay skills is honed in BF3 and there's no teamplay in that. If it means ignoring our base then I'll just stick to 6vs6.
Heck, I'm even more active in 6vs6, this morning even though I lost, I didn't died at all and got first place in my team.

it happened to you too huh?
it's not meant for that.maybe it's because the desert map is larger tha the valley map that it's kinda hard to keep up but when i did that previously,we didn't have much of a problem.
maybe that's because you've adapted on the 4vs4 play already that you've become agile of your controls.

@FOG: I know the surroundings after playing the map twice. I'm well aware of the Zaku's doing a pincer formation. Yeah, 4vs4 is definitely more simple than 6vs6. I don't have to worry about 5 Zaku's coming at me all at once.
@Kaimax: The reason I kept marching forward was because 2 Zaku's were trying to conquer Camp A and one dude was trying to stop them. So, I decided to assist him since they were near death, and after I killed them I came back to assist you.
When I got there you were in a Mazela Tank fighting a, what I'm guessing was, a GM Ground Type Zaku. I assisted you from behind and then tried to use the knife charge move to stun him so you could get away.
@FOG & Kaimax: But if you want I'll stay back and guard the base from now on. I need to figure out what the effects of my equipment do so I can know what to put on my MS. I only understand the HP ones.

some of the custom parts gave the ability to enhance the bullet, beam and cannon impact(if i got that right),thruster and speed.for sniper/cannon/tank types there's this box thingy named database that gives you slightly longer reach and give boost to long ranged damage.
and i almost forgot,at the 3rd panel in customize we can set our obtained badge and each badge actually have effects.i'm currently can equip 2 badges, one enhance the repairing ability so i can repair my MS faster than usual and the other one for enhance my skill(if i wasn't mistaken).
EDIT ffffuuuuuu....
weapons lvl 4 requires PSN money and it cost 200yen.
damnit.

I'm having a very hard time playing this game.
FPS is random, MSes are immortal, Humans are stomp fodder.
Controls are in Japanese, Menus are in Japanese *i'm surprised how i even got into a game*
Trying to play using my foreign tactic *Bitch do SOMETHING!* but it doesnt work.
If i won't get any real help understanding what's where and how, this might be the first Gundam game that i will hate *NOTE: I LOVE Gundam :Target in Sight for PS3 and completed it countless times*

Lol,
This Gundam is just basically "Target in sight" but harder and has a very high learning curve.
It's a F2P game, I'm surprised it's not broken.
-FPS is random due the connection since the servers are located in Japan. I can only get 2 connection bars max, much like in Gundam Versus Extreme
-MSs feel immortal because, beginner stats are just shit, so try to find a room that only has people with the same level. This can be seen by the long blue bar in the choose a room screen. For Privates choose the one where the only one that is visible is the furthest left bar, while all the other bars on the right is black.
-Lol, that's how humans do in a gundam fight, get curbstomped. "Pilot mode" is only good at conquering bases and bombing so try not to get in that mode often.
-there's translation guides in recent few pages in this thread.
My advise for a beginner:
-concentrate at conquering bases and bombing their main base, since your MS is still basic without any enhancement, it will basically lose in any fight.
-If you don't like that, stick with another MS and support each other.
-In this game, winning and losing still gets you exp points and research items. Just be patient and then you'll get better equipments.
-So, focus on mastering movement and controls in your beginner days, don't try to focus on destroying a MS.
My progress after 8 days, without buying stock energy
-Rank 5 Private 1st Class
-Main Feddy MS: Lvl 1 GM[G], equipped with Lvl 2 100mmMG
-Main Zeon Ms : Lvl 1 Zaku II S, equiiped with a Lvl 2 Zaku machinegun

Okay. So, I blew up the Zeon's base and held them off from trying to defuse it. When my MS got destroyed I couldn't respawn with it for some reason. So, I hid on top of my team's base scouting and I see a GM Ground Type Zaku coming towards our base.
When he got out of his MS, to go set the bomb, I hovered down behind him and knifed him in the back and then I defused the bomb. Now, this is where it gets funny, I fired a shot from my Bazooka at his GM Ground Type, which puts it at about 150 health left, and I switch to my Assault Rifle and finish it off.
The pilot respawns, right when I murdered his Zaku, and goes to set the bomb again in our base. After he sets it I knife him, right when he turns around, in the face and I go to defuse it again for another 150 points putting me in first place for my team.

Ranked up to lvl 6 Private 1st class, and finally got a GunTank.
I honestly like it, but it's useless in CQC. But Only pure CQC, I can still 1vs1 when the opponent decides not to go batshit melee on my guntank, I just need to predict shots.
