Naughty Bear

Has anyone else heard of this game? To sum it up quickly, the game is basically Manhunt mixed with every slasher flick from the 80's, just switch out the actors for teddy bears and keep the extreme violence. From what I've seen from the trailers, this game is very funny, if not a little on the dark and disturbing side.

The plot is simple. You play as Naughty Bear, a teddy bear that is notorious for being mischievous on the island that all of the teddy bears live on. One day, One of the other bears on the island is throwing a birthday party. Problem is, you weren't invited. Now you must go around the island to exact your revenge and make them pay.

The whole point of the game is to go around the island causing as much trouble as you can. This can range from breaking stuff to just plain murdering the other bears. In fact, you can go as far as driving the other bears insane and (if you're good enough) get them to commit suicide.

The beauty of the game is that if you pre-order from GameStop like I did, you get a special Jason costume. Similarly, if you pre-order from Amazon you get a Freddy Kreuger costume, which even comes with special walking animations and some freaky thing he does with his tongue.

Me and a couple friends watched all the current trailers straight. When it was over, we sat in silence for a minute- then one of my buddies says "I think we need to buy this game." We all nodded and said "Yeah."

review out about 2 hours ago, seems to be an extremely horrible game o.o;;

i never got to the review. ten* minutes of ads, then when i hit the skip ad button, it just changed to a differant ad, and froze my IE.

I'm not one to follow reviews as I find my opinion of games tend to differ from critics. Instead, I prefer to actually play the game and see for myself if I like it or not. For example G4 gave GTA4 a 5/5, while I hated the game with all my soul and thought Saints Row 2 was infinitely better. They later gave Metro 2033 a lousy 3/5 while I spent a solid two weeks trying to get the "good ending" after my fourth play-through (and I didn't even finish Mass Effect 2 at the time). In other words: I'm going to completely disregard that review and get the game anyway.

the idea behind the game seems entertaining enough, will check it out when i get the chance...

I never thought there was much meat on the this game to really consider it.

Picked up my copy of the game today. Now I'm gonna go flex my jack-ass muscles and drive every living thing on that island into commiting suicide with a blunt object.

All the killing feels empty when its stuffings instead of meat chunks and hair balls instead of blood...
