Neglected Games? :(

Have there been any games you guys believe should have become more well-known, but never got any spotlight? or perhaps it should have been in the spot light longer?
-Custom Robo (Gamecube):For all i know, im really the only person that still plays this game. It had a very addictive, easy to pick up combat system, and a twisted plot. Overall, the multiplayer was the best :D.
I think Super smash brawl and Mario kart wii died out too quick, sure a lot of you guys still play it, but it lacks that Originality that made those two very good games. IMO. what do you guys think?

Neglected games? Well, I kind of feel that F-Zero X and GX are neglected. I pray for another F-Zero game, except with online of course, so I can actually go up against somebody good, but not crazy Time Attack good.
The Cyber Troopers: Virtual-On series by SEGA is quite neglected. It involves mech on mech combat, but the number of different attacks and subtleties makes it shine. Even in close quarters, there were quite a few options open to you, but getting close against the computer was always a bad idea. There will probably never be another Virtual-On game after Marz, but you have no idea how hard it is to find someone living near you that's able to handle such a steep learning-curve game. I also miss the mechanics from Orotario Tangram (the damn 2v2 system in Marz screwed everything up). Orotario Tangram had some intense, face-paced, 1v1 action.
Lastly, we have Wartech: Senko no Ronde, a sort of 'successor' to Virtual-On but developed by G.Rev. Unlike the behind-the-mech view of Virtual-On, it instead uses a top-down view. This is necessary considering Wartech is basically Virtual-On combined with a bullet hell shump. The mechs in this game are capable of going into B.O.S.S. Mode, which is like transforming into one of those gigantic boss enemies you see in shumps.
Edit: I also want to add in Odin Sphere to the list.

XIII that game CRIED out for a sequel and never got one, and its a crying shame too. The style of that game was out of this world. The plot was out of this world. Plus you shot up the KKK.

i played xiii and found it was somewhat lacking. it was a great game dont get me wrong, anything that gives you three perspectives of a knife you just threw in a guys head is outstanding... but thats all it had going for it in my opinion.

god hand was a game very neglected in my opinion, a ps2 hack and slasher... or punch and kicker rather. it was about a guy endowed with the arm of a god who uses it to kick ass and preform moves from every martial art i can think of, from drunken boxing to just plain ridiculous.

I believe a very neglected game was Pariah for the XBOX. It had a great story, a nice weapon upgrade system, pretty good graphics, and fun multiplayer with some cool modes. Only bad point was that it had a terrible vehicle driving system.

ICO, SotC and Okami, all for PS2. Some of the best games ever made, and none of them can claim over a million copies sold.

Eternal Darkness.
Without a doubt one of the best games I've played in my life. It's too bad the game sold really badly. It pains me to see that people aren't experiencing the greatness of that game. The sanity effects are amazing.

Use Orca it's the stronger version of Dolphin
Wall is my secondary bomb when I feel like using it. Never really tried stun. I think me and you can both agree Titan is the most fail of fail in that game.

And that sir you are indeed correct.

I've said it once and I'll say it again: Battlezone. Activisions 1998 remake of the atari one from 1980. I love that game, so much. A great hybrid of a tank simulation game, a first-person shooter and a real-time strategy game. But it never got the attention it deserved. Shame really, if it did then maybe there might have been a chance for a remake.

I simply loved that game and i knew many people that also did.
this game was so long and difficult, and it was very fun to play.
I've been looking for a copy since my old copy was borrowed and never returned. =(
that game kicked ass.

I dunno if PS games are accepted in this thread, But Thousand Arms, Tales of Destiny and Parappa the Rapper (you rock man! ) are underestimated. So underestimated that I hate to see these game only end up in the PS section, lost for all Eternity (except for Tales of Destiny. Already have a Remake^^)

Beyond Good and Evil was a great game. The soundtrack was amazing too.

Yes, there have been games that should have gotten some light, but never have. They're called gems. I personally think Atlus don't get a lot of recognition for their games, they made a lot of good RPGs. Until Persona 3 people started noticing the array of games they made and their fan base have grown since then, but not big enough to accumulate millions of copies easily.
