IMO rts games as they never die or get boring: there are always new strategies, build orders, patches, and most importantly online community never dies and u can play with others. I still enjoy kane's wrath and dawn of war. Waiting for dow2 and starcraft 2.

If you have a PS3, Valkyria Chronicles is meant to be very good. RPGamer gave it 5/5.
Have you played SMT3? I prefer the Digital Devil Saga and Persona series because I'm more drawn to story and character than anything else, but the core SMT series is where the real challenge lies. Shit, as a comparison, Persona 4 is a relaxing walk along the beach and SMT3 is the Omaha Landing.
You could actually replay Persona 4. You keep your stats (Knowledge, Courage, etc), your registered persona and you money and there are a few changes to the game. You can take on Death to get the ultimate weapons for each of your characters, fight Margaret who has maximum stats and generally see more of the game since you'll have much higher stats sooner. You'll be able to say more in conversations due to your Courage and other stats. There are also three endings to see in total.

Yeah yeah, and then he can play Battletoads and ET. Or maybe the TMNT and Top Gun games on the NES.

But seriously, Last Remnant is pretty good. There is the Chain of Memories remake on PS2. I am replaying Tales of Vesperia right now because it was amazing and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

I'll have you know Battletoads was and probably always will be the best game ever.
Left 4 Dead is mad fun online, and if you're into mastering challenges (time trials, in this case), pick up Mirror's Edge. It's a nice refreshing game that does something new and does it damn well. The combat can get a little lame at some points though, and the enemies are 9 times out of 10, dumb as bricks.

Great, thanks. You made me curious, so I looked it up. Now I want it.
I'm never gonna save any money...
