No Final Fantasy Characters in Future KH games?
You think there should FF characters in Birth By Sleep as well as the remaining games that are yet to come?

This caught my attention after 358/2 days was released, Tetsuya Nomura himself that the series is strong enough to have only disney characters at this point, what do you guys think?
me personally, i don't like it just doesn't feel "balanced". I know FF shouldn't be combined COMPLETELY but the franchise was built BECAUSE of final fantasy, not just disney, i was hoping for maybe others like possibly Vincent from FFVII or Balthier from XII or how about Cat sith? (c'mon at least ONE person here dreamed of something like that), I just hope they put some FF characters in BBS in the very least. (i saw a few screen shots with cloud and cid in coded so at least they're taking a bit of notice)

They really shouldn't. It's taking out an element of the game out, even if it's minor. It'd be like Code Geass without mechs. Sure it could work but it just won't as fun.

I hate reviews where people bitch just because Cloud didn't have enough screentime over Pooh Bear. KH wasn't MEANT to be a Final Fantasy game, fanboys/girls. The Disney joint was there for a reason - TO HAVE DISNEY IN IT. It's a half-half game originally, but personally I'm GLAD they're dropping the FF gang. I'm sick of all the attention MINOR FF characters get paid over Disney characters that MATTER.

EDIT a bit: I still firmly stand by what I said, but the rest of you do make a good point - It really wouldn't be a JOINT without a few characters, that's a given, so I guess a few should hang around. Yes, exactly as you said. It was meant to be a half-and-half game. Not an all of one or all of another. If they drop the Final Fantasy aspect, then it loses the half and half ratio AND the whole point of the joint series. If anything, It needs More Final Fantasy aspect. Keep the same amount of Disney characters and add more Final Fantasy characters. OR add more of both. There isn't enough Final Fantasy characters.

If you do that, you're just making it into a Final Fantasy game with a few Disney characters, and that's not what the game was supposed to be. I'd LOVE it to be a full-on Disney game, but then Disney's morals and friendship and whatever would muck it up - But at the same time, the game isn't about how Cloud is a fucking emo and Leon is some sort of badass.
I can see adding another Disney world or so since KH2 used almost ALL of the KH1 worlds, but stop adding FF characters. That's enough. I mean hell, the PSP game is just re-using Summon characters for worlds, just like KH2 did.
KH 1 - Morshu Summon. KH2 had a Mulan world.
KH 1 - Simba Summon. KH2 had a Lion King world.
In the PSP game, there'll even be a Lilo & Stitch world since Stitch was a summon in KH2. I'm HOPING there's no Chicken Little world.
They're not adding Disney characters really, they're tossing in a few and then re-using older ones. If Disney isn't getting that much of a treatment, then Cloud doesn't need his whole fucking group either.

it could do without them they wernt really that important they added in Cloud for some screentime for fun but in case of Sephiroth i truly enjoyed taht fight in the end

They used Agrabah 3 times. Give it a rest.
Pirates of Carribean (typo?) world was boring as all fuck.
Pooh's torn pages is getting to be a tiring concept.

Some should be tossed and new ones should be brought in. I think they should keep Sephiroth, though. One of the staples of both KH and KH2 have been the incredibly hard battle with him. And if he is there, Cloud has to be there, too.

I'm pretty sick of the series as it is. I think Kingdom Hearts and its sequel was enough. The rest of this reeks of milking the franchise. How about we actually force these game developers to actually use creative thinking more than once every decade. -_-

We use Less Final Fantasy Characters as main plotlines in hollow bastion, Rather they spread them out as menial one world and then they are done characters... yes I said it, stop using disney worlds and start using Final Fantasy ones for some damn originality. If I play through agrabah one more time my head will explode.
Hell we could have 10 original levels using FF franchise, FF 1-10.
The compensation is having disney characters be more into the main storyline, More of mickey kicking ass and having him be more involved then say ... Yoda in star wars would be a good analogy.
Use Final Fantasy and Disney Villains together to make super bosses and shit... Can you imagine fighting the disney villains assisted by characters like Kefka?
Also More pete... pete was the only thing I enjoyed about KH2, and they made him kinda lame... Pete can kick mickeys ass... they should have made it like that instead of his 1 minute wind up punches and Clumsy fighting techniques, he should have grabs and punches of doooom haha. *wants a Pete & Fuijan and Rajin to team up*

if it's just disney characters it's gonna feel like to much of a disney cash-in game rather than the wonderfukl mashup of worlds the current games are. The KH games don't have a big enough original cast to do something without the FF characters. sora's island populated by FF charaters, radiant garden populated by FF characters, moogles are the shop keepers and such, if they had built a more solid original cast beyond villians and sora/riku/kairi.
It could work but it won't feel the same and changing the current FF characters to something else will alienate the current fans and sadly i feel they're taking out the FF characters to not alienate FF fans.
