Anyone heard about this game? It looks kinda fun.
Here's a quick summary. You play Travis Touchdown, a guy living in California. He's supposed to be an average otaku, but in an effort to make him come across as cool he dresses like a total douche (complete with aviator glasses, greased hair and all), rides a motorcycle and fights with a crappy pseudo-lightsaber(looks like a florescent light tube). He ends up killing some assassin and starts fighting his way through the 10 top ranked assassin to become number 1.
His room(short, kinda funny)
Fighting Destroyman (first and last few min are funny cutscenes, the rest is gameplay. Destroyman is some fratboy with crotch lasers and nipple machine guns)
Fighting Dr. Peace(same as above, but this time it's a singing cowboy in a ballpark)
As you can see, it's all super American to appeal to a Japanese audience. Should you be interested, the NA version will be incredibly bloody while the Japanese and Euro versions are pretty much blood free. Also, it's by the same people as Killer7. Oh, and it's a Wii exclusive.
Personally I'm looking forward to picking this up once it can be found for cheap, although that may be awhile since it won't be released for a couple months.

Smash looks like it may become a little disappointing. A lot of people are complaining about the characters but this game looks interesting.

When I was browsing around for some Wii games to buy in the future this is one of them it may look weird, but will probably get decent ratings and that's good enough for me.
Fighting the bosses look a little repetitive don't you think? Should add more strategy to it.

Yeah, the standard levels seem even more repetitive then the boss fights(which is why I didn't both to post videos of that). I just think it looks hilarious because of how overly American it all looks to appeal to a Japanese audience. I think I'll probably get it once I find a really cheap used copy after it's been out for awhile.
And yes, I have made a lot of Wii topics(three last night). The last couple days I've ended up browsing gamefaqs and looking up videos of various games on youtube(as a form of procrastinating rather then studying for finals, but I'm done with all the difficult ones and seem to have done well thus far). The only new system I have is Wii, so I don't really bother looking into 360/PS3 games.

Yeah, there is normal run around and fight kinda stuff, not just boss battles.

The NA version is well how do I say it.. Fucking awesome? xD With lots of gore I wouldn't mind playing something a little repetitive and that wrestling move where after he slams a guy and the his saber flies down to the guy's chest is pwnage.

This game has some shrewd story.(yes, shrewd) It's creative to say the least. Doesn't make much sense, but creative as many other games story also doesn't make sense. The graphic is cool and it has town exploration. It's definitely a look for Wii owners.
But I think I'll pass as I don't have a Wii myself... yet.

I am badly looking for this game. It just looks awesome. The only problem is that Japanese version and PAL version have been censored...no blood, instead of red there will be black and some cash will come out of foes ._.''

I bought this game yesterday. I expected far more tbh. The walking around town is... bad. It really is. And it's also very laggy. The regular enemies are almost always the same, which is a bit annoying since you have to kill loads of them. The good thing about this game really is the boss battles. They are nicely put together, but the controls don't allow for better fights. The gameplay doesn't even compare to games like God of War or Devil May Cry, which really is a shame.
I hope it gets better along the way.
