I remember my 27 yo sister who's not fond of gaming at all but when i introduced her to Defense Grid, she got totally hooked  .

A game you want to play together on PC? Err, Portal maybe? It doesn't seem too complicated.

if you have a wii,any wii game would do lol.Its straight forward and fun enough for her.

If PC its a little hard for coop, but you could play puyo puyo pop fever lol.Alternatively she could play plant vs zombies and you could sit beside her and teach her stuff lol

ah, didn't see the (PC) part

then go get Some
easy puzzle games (compete scores with her)

When you say PC you mean you are going to be playing online and not in the same room right? If you are going to play co-op that is.

Or do you just want a game you can put on the computer for her to play?

If she's into Visual Novels I would recommend YO-JIN-BO. It's fantasy/romance and has a fairly decent storyline, not to mention it's currently the most popular translated Otome game (Otome game = Maiden Game = Visual Novels for females). I conquered YO-JIN-BO! Though I'm not sure that's something to be proud of if you're male.

PM me for the torrent link.

List of Otome games.

Off/T:
There are no real girl VNs that I know of because most VN and especially eroge translators are guys. Perhaps I should translate a VN... if I knew how to do the technical aspect of it maybe I would...

What. Have you even played Portal? It's far from being a simple game. I'd say it contains some pretty complex puzzles that requires an experienced gamer to beat them.

A few people mentioned Katamari and it seems like a reasonable choice. You could always try platformers as well.

Ask what she wants to play, first-person, rts, roleplaying, etc.

After that, you'll know what games she could play.

Sounds convincing ... i think i can ask her to play L4D2 with me later in time we can met ..

On the other note, maybe some game from GameHouse can do the trick .... it's fun for play though

The concept is easy to get. Now if she's too stupid to think that's her problem (no offense intended).

Huh? No need to be an "experienced gamer" to solve a puzzle. Portal is for everyone.... Unless she hates FPS.
And unlike many other fps, this game is even funnier when two people are playing it, thinking their brains out on how to beat a level.

Have you even played Portal?

Take a guess.

The fact that the concept is simple means nothing, the way it's used is what matters. And the later levels of the game require good thinking, something most light gamers can't do efficiently.

When the puzzle combines not only good thinking but also good reflexes then you do need some level of expertize in gaming. You can gain it from playing just that one game, but having had previous experiences with similar mechanisms helps a great deal to make things faster and less frustrating, and therefore more enjoyable.
