I just bought House of the Dead 2&3 today and I really enjoy it, but I find using the wii mote a little awkward and it hurts my wrist after a while. So I want to get a gun controller but I'm having a little bit of a dilemma deciding which one to go with. The majority of the reviews I've read lean towards the Perfect Shot, but I've always been wary of using third party controllers. So if anyone has used them and can help me make a decision I really appreciate it!

Well if you really need to buy an accessory I suggest the perfect shot. True 3rd party stuff are hazy but I don't agree when it comes to nyko.
Personally I only own Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles and not sure how House of the Dead is but really I find it more comfortable to really just use the remote and nunchuck (considering it is better to have my finger on the remote D-pad for best weapon switch).
I would feel more comfortable holding the nyko since it is made for one hand rather than the zapper which is closer to two hands. Not only that but if reload is done by nunchuck it is better to not attach it to the zapper if using it. So imo that is extra weight/placement that is wasted on the zapper plus would leave an awkward feel since your holding it with one hand (at least I would). While the perfect shot is perfect since you just need the remote to aim and the nunchuck most likely shaken to reload. This is just me being used to rail shooting guns in arcades, you almost never see two handed ones except for one of the time crisis possibly called crisis zone or something (forgot name >_<).
I hope this helps.

Most of what I've read said the perfect shot was better, I was just wary of third party stuff. You don't use the nunchuck in HOD, to reload you just aim off screen so that shouldn't be a problem for me. +1 rep
