Thanks for this wonderful pile of NOPE
My screenshot is a bit big. Here's a link!
screenshot is from Outlast.
This game is pretty good. Sure it plays the whole "mental issues = scary" gig, but once you really put the time into it...
If you have a set up that can take it, it is very much worth the purchase.

Looks cool. Too bad my computer is shitty and probably couldn't play it. :(There are actually loads of amazing horror games that can fit your specs. "The Witch's House" and "Imscared" are two that come to mind when someone mentions low spec set ups.
And honestly, you have the advantage here. Trust me, you DO NOT want a 3D HD version of "The Witch's House". I, personally, would not be able to finish that.

Can understand that... I love Steam for that reason I can buy games so cheap that I can buy games and last sale I had a blast and bought sleeping dogs and batman arkham city for under 40 € and when I look at other platforms prices like gta 5 for the ps3 that costs like 65 € I think "man this is too much cash out of the window" I'm not a casual gamer but I like to spend little money to have a maximum game experience.
I really would wish there was a Steam like thingy for the Playstation or other consoles...
P.S. sry for the americans among you I was too lazy to calculate how much € is in Dollar : P

Meh.
Ain't scaring me.
Say, have you beaten this game?
Simply due to the fact that the noises and everything in motion kinda did it for me.
And no, I haven't beaten it yet. Had to get some other work done. But so far, its been my go to game the past 2 days.

Psychological horror game? Like Eternal Darkness?Nah, not in the same boat [within the genre]. I'd say it's closer to 'Hellnight' than 'Eternal Darkness'. Another game that kinda falls into this would be 'Gregory Horror Show' except that outlast is in first person, while GHS was in third if I remember correctly [GHS was once referred to as budget metal gear solid]
Basically you are stuck without any weapons and all you can do is hide while trying to find a way out.

Played 'em. Witch's House was great. Imscared was just weird. Too short I think. Either way, I think a 3D Witch's House would be interesting lol. dat bear.
