Knowing the music helps A LOT!!! If you know the song, but have never played the beat map, you can do really well the first time you play it. Whereas if the song is totally foreign, it's a little harder.

This game really made me rage tonight, first time a game made me heated in a while.

I did when I first started. Now, not so much... Lol.

It made me rage the whole time. I hated the when I couldn't catch up quickly enough to stupid sequences and it messed up my rhythm....!!!!

I'm not really that good by normal standards, but I'm playing it on a laptop. With a touchpad.
I don't necessarily find that knowing the music helps, rather you should be able to keep the natural pulse of the song throughout and just click when it looks right. Unless the song has multiple tempos/time signatures.
Of course, mouse control is key (lol you're telling the laptop guy).

Also, the trick to spinners comes from some physics; spin near the centre; in a shorter distance you can get more rotation down, as you use up less force to obtain the same moment. Basically, spinning near the middle seems slower, but uses less energy, plus it lets you be in a better position for the rest of the song.

I cant find any soungs that are atleast 3 stars. I even asked the online com. but like all old players do... ignore new ones.

Just keep trying and those 4 star songs will be doable, I kept practicing and listening to the song before hand and now I can handle some of the 4-5 star songs.
