I'm about to retry Rise Stiptease level. :D

Dear god, but I'm a loser that I've managed to put off finishing P4 until just now.

Incredibly awesome ending. Much more satisfying then P3's, tho' it's unfortunate it doesn't leave much room for another FES-style re-release.

I am a little miffed that, the final dungeon and down, I had to go back to playing Main Healer, after leaving that distasteful task to Yukiko all game.

Oh, and if [size=6]Izanami[/h] would stop spamming Megidolaon, that would be nice too.

I beat Rise's Shad-...Well Teddy beat Rise's shadow, and then Teddy turn's around and let's out his shadow and I'm all zomgwtfbbq! I got pwned by Teddie's shadow. >.<

I lost to Teddy's shadow the first time I fought him.

Well, mostly because I was retarded and let Yukiko die while out of revival items, thus losing my healer.

P4 is actually pretty easy compared to P3. At least in P4 I don't have to worry about my party members not finishing off a wounded enemy with 1-hit kill moves because they wanted to stop and heal me.

I hated the Striptease, tho'. I have this odd, insurmountable tendency to run exactly in the center of the walkway, but run the edge of the circular platforms. I made myself horribly dizzy doing that for thirteen floors.

Don't you guys use "Direct Commands" for other party members?

Here's how I'd rate the difficulty of the more recent SMT games compared to something very hard and something very easy.

Flying a small plane through the Arc de Triomphe in Paris (this has actually been done)
Shim Megami Tensei: Nocturne
Digital Devil Saga 1 and 2 (the first is probably harder IIRC)
Persona 3
Persona 4
Falling off a log

And if we're talking about slight aged Nanako's...



The 2nd one's still loli-ish (and it's not as if the first one's exactly mature) but she's still probably about twice the age of Nanako in the game (if not a little more).

Yeah, but I had the same problem as Arzith, I had no revival items because I only have about enough Yen to just buy my equipment. >__>

Not really, the only ones youd get intimate with is Rise, Chie, Ai, Naoto and either of the 2 Sun Arcana girls, Rise's Pretty useful when shes at 10 :P

Yayz!! I got the game yesterday! :D (that explains my absence yesterday, and for the following days)

Okay, I have to admit. The voice actors ARE good. But I still think some of them dont fit the characters that well. (I took a bit to adapt to Chie's voice but I think i'm getting used to it xD)

btw, I'm loving the mood of the game xD this one is so much more comical than P3's dark mood. ^^

Chie's voice is weird in the Japanese version too. She sounds like she's meant to be a little imp or something; really high-pitched and squeaky. Whereas Yukiko sounds like she has a blocked nose in the US dub, in the Japanese one it's Yousuke who's all nasal.

The Orb of Darkness seems to be a reference to Dragon Quest, just like the rest of that dungeon. You usually have to find some magic orb in order to gain access to the enemy's castle or something like that in DQ games, particularly the earlier ones.

I'm still at the start of my 2nd playthrough; just after they all meet Teddie/Kuma for the first time. I've been roughly at that point since I completed it the first time a few months ago. I've just moved into a new apartment and I've only just got my TV and PS2 set up so now I should be able to get back into again.

I finished the game yesterday, and I kinda feel empty now...It was a awesome game. I'm going through it's second gameplay.

I'm actually playing it right now. I've eventually got on with my 2nd cycle after starting it months ago. It's pretty cool that there are two S.Links that have two choices within them for which person you hang out with (Strength and Sun) as well as the other differences the 2nd time around. For one thing, it's nice being able to say the more cocky responses in dialogue choices due to my maxed Courage.

It's also cool because while I'm doing it on Expert, I've summoned my level 98 Lucifer. I just did Kanji's shadow for about 4 levels too low - and that's if it was on Normal rather than Expert. Everyone died in my party in a few hit but the MC was taking like 1-10 damage from the enemies and doing 700 damage back to them. But shit, it would be hard as fuck if you couldn't summon your Personae from the first cycle.

I managed to get intimate with your fellow classmate Yumi. :3

Nope but rather you must meet all those people you had max social links with. You don't need to max all.
