If I were you I'd save the trouble of trying to make this game work in japanese and wait for the official western release in a few months.

It's easy to master. Lock-on is Q and third person shooter mode is Z.
There's a tutorial quest right before you get into the nitty gritty.
You can use a game pad and there's an user interface for a xbox360 controller as well.

I should get around to installing this... except that I pretty much ran out of disk-space. Plus, it'd take ages to patch, lol.

oh yeah, that latest update that I have to download is freaking 4 GB! Atleast I got 1 GB down. Tomorrow it should finish so that I could grind my ranger to lvl 20.

Played and I started to miss PSU. I shall mend my broken heart by re living past PSO memories.

I'll try to configure a ps3 controller, since i don't own a xbox, and i dont see why i should get a 360 if i can make this work instead.
Requirements are all cool, i'm downloading the game now, then i'm gonna update, then install patch.

Ok, this is weird. I've updated the game and the patch. It says that The Patch doesn't support the game. weird. I've downloaded the latest patch too but it still say the same thing.

I tried to play the game in normal mode(without translation) and this happens.



Usually it displays the Sega and NVidia + OP of the game but it didn't. I only heard the sounds of it. I thought there were a missing part but no. I didn't change anything. I only used the patch provided and this happens. Can anyone help?




Sometimes the Gameguard fucks up too, but I've overcome that by restarting my lappy over and over again.

The latest patch caused a lot of bugs, and it was the biggest patch so far. They did an emergency update the next day too but some of the graphics are still buggy. Next patch will be on Dec.12 . Until then, try posting your question on the pso-world forums. I'm able to play without any problems with my laptop with the latest eng-patch, so I can assure you that the game can be played.

It's possible, but it costs 700 AC. Since foreign credit cards are not accepted by PS02 the best route would be to purchase webmoney. Google the steps on how to purchase webmoney.

As of right now Suto Corp is out of Web money so you can try purchasing a prepaid webmoney card from play-asia or amiami.


The last option would be deleting the current character on the character selection menu and creating a new one on the ship of your choosing.

p.s. I'm glad I'm not on ship 2. For some reason foreigners like to inflate the prices on items that would normally cost cheaper on the other ships.

I really have to start doing my matter board, it's only on page 3..

But i'm still not gonna buy a Vita for this, the portable function is nice but it's just not worth it.

I haven't touched my matterboard since page 3. I'll probably work on it when I start lvling my force class. I think you get to battle Falz on the 6th matter board?

I thought there were only 5 matter boards...hmm
