first off you Wrong because its based on the original more than the newer ones and you dont have a DS

y r they basing it off of the 1st version r they bringing back the character or classes of the 1st?

well the first game was the most popular or at least ep1 and hopefully the class system of the first is brought back because it had way more selctions than the universe games.

I must say this game definitely looks interesting. I am all in for real time battle RPG and hope it provides like most tales of... series especially for the DS.
I mean last time and possibly on other real time battle rpg I bought was FF:crystal chronicles on the DS and it was a waste of $$$ to be honest. I really hope more of this kind of RPG comes to the US.

Ah, PSO gave me so many good memories... and hundreds and hundreds of hours of grinding fun. I think the series of PSO games were the only ones that I actually enjoyed grinding. Hell, I got to level 97 and Ultimate mode on ep 1&2 offline alone!
PSO style gameplay on the DS? Auto-win. Now... if it's like PSU, then screw it.
Edit: To the above poster... what didn't you like about FFCC:RoF? My friends and I had a lot of fun doing 4 player runs through most of the stages...

It is a semi-con to me because one I only knew one other person with the game, two each person must have the game in order to play, and three it cost what $40 at least last I remember. Way to much for that game and totally not worth its price.
That is its only redeeming factor. Playing solo really was bad and hard to get through at times.
If I were to pay that much for one game the only ones worth it were games like phoenix wright series, the world ends with you, luminous arc 2, and maybe pokemon diamond/pearl (only said maybe and not definite depends on the person having wifi connection or not which I don't atm).
