Another clause by the way.
Extended Game Clause
This clause allows the use of the Pokemon Arceus.
obviously... You can't obtain it by legal means... So... Makes sense. Well, both players have to agree on this clause... Haha.

hahaha yea, to be more accurate though, the extended clause allows the use of items/pokemon that are in the game memory but have yet to be released, Arceus as you have stated, and also custap berry is an example =p (there are more i believe but yea)

Oh yeah. Obviously. xD
Revise!
Extended Game Clause
The use of the Pokemon Arceus and various berries unobtainable in game are allowed.
Another clause I forgot!
Hax Item Clause
Luck based items cannot be used as they do not reflect on the player's abilities. These items include, but are not limited to...
* Bright Powder
* Focus Band
* King's Rock
* Lax Incense
* Lucky Punch
* Quick Claw
* Razor Claw
* Razor Fang
* Scope Lens
* Stick
Lol.

sounds like fun.. however there's this additional rules known for experts.. A team can only used up to 3 (if you don't want it to be 2) Pokemon of OU tiers.. I don't think too many OU on a team can bring on the fun.. how's that sound?

taht's what makes it fun.. if your team is only made on OUs, it'll be boring like hell.. i mean, even noobs can cause troubles in battle with a total OU team.. just for you to know, some people (including me) sees if a trainer is an experts by able or not he/she makes a good use of UU pokemon

In my opinion... Experts play Uber battles. That's where true skill shows where even a small wrong move means a loss.
Where the damage is a lot more, the knowledge of the Pokemon and the right EV spreads, the right move sets, prediction, and counters means all the difference.
Will you go with the safe play? Will you predict a switch? Do you have a counter? Can you get your strategy off? If that fails, do you have a back up plan?
Uber battles are where true skill shows. Lol.

But yea, i understand what you mean >>; i dont use more than 2-3 OUs on my makeup most of the time anyway. A pure OU team is too predictable
@shia: indeed, I actually find that playing in different bars exercise the different aspects of player skills. uber focusing more on in-battle skills, UU more on team makeup and the ability to create powerful comboes while OU is on the in-between of those two.

hahah.. i never even heard of uber battles lol.. that's pretty much just a noob battle.. for instance, what can you do in double battls if Darkrai can use it's dark void and puts everyone to sleep (except it's own teammate)?.. they didn't called ubers for nothing.. they are ubers because of their abilities to break the battle itself

Doubles? That's not really part of the standard metagame... >_>
That's where you argument becomes null... Lol. Sleep Clause prevents Darkrai from putting everything to sleep. From there you can go a lot of different ways... Focus Blast being the most effective, or going with Deoxys-S and Revenge killing it... Hoping it can take a Dark Pulse of course... Then your items become important... Focus Sash, Chesto Berry.

just who in the world said that doubles isn't a part of metagame?.. Doubles needs extraordinary skills and team composition in order to be strong which are cannot be done by most trainers (including me yet)..
and about sleep clause, you can't use sleep moves if there's a sleeping pokemon already, but it doesn't count if Darkrai's dark void can put 2 pokemon to sleep at the same time in one move.. and i guess it's enough for this uber discussion, if people got their own opinions regarding it then it's all fine.. i'm just referring to what the meta-community thinks..

Competitive battling is usually done in single battles yo. But, yeah, I know doubles takes a lot of skill. I've done plenty of them to know. They're starting to become like singles. Someone with Fakeout is almost always a must in those doubles. Explosion is used a lot. Rock Slide is a common attack. Meh. I know all about doubles....
But, like I said before, online competitive battling is usually singles. You'll be hardpressed to find someone who would want a doubles battle. Well... Not really. Lol.
Still Dark Void isn't all mighty. It misses often... It's rare that one can put both Pokemon to sleep. Well... I found it rare... Silly Smeargle...

>>; well, labelling uber battling "noob" is not really a "pro" way of labelling if i do say so myself.
since in uber battles, BOTH teams have access to ubers, and if they can break the game, so can you. Uber battles make "mistakes" that can happen very devastating and it really requires very good skill and prediction to be able to play well in the uber tier.

I think it's more that there aren't that many competitive players.
For me, all of the rules, exceptions, IVs, EVs, etc... completely takes all the fun out of it. XD

Ditto, I like Pokemon, but not enough to sink 700 hours into it. God damn. At first I was excited, but reading through this thread I can't even understand half of what you peeps are saying. D:

Well, I have Diamond but my stupid router security settings won't let my DS connect to the net. Why did Nintendo decided to use the crappiest settings is something I'll never know.

Eh heh. No competitive battlers here on Fakku. Guess that's doesn't surprise me all too much.
However, there are a lot of joys in competitive battling. You play against actual humans. That's a challenge all in itself. I realize in the game when you're playing through the story, you might just use all attacks. Against humans, items and status type attacks are very useful. It's a whole new animal.
Gotta love Pokemon. xD
