Eww, really not feeling that Mega Sharpedo design. Also loss of Speed Boost makes me a bit sad but I'll live with super awesome STAB Crunch.

I forgot to add Primordial Groundon and Kyogre.
Their special abilities were revealed. It's pretty much Drizzle/Drought, except permanent if the two legendaries are out and they cancel out Fire or Water type attacks. Groundon also gets fire typing...and since his ability also negates water types, he sounds like a handful.

Primal Groudon definitely sounds like a huge threat! Ground/Fire-typing with an increased ATK stat and permanent sun while he's on the field, negating the use of other weather-changing attacks and abilities and completely canceling out any water attacks? Goddamn.
With the combination of his new ability and his Ground/Fire-typing, I believe he loses all of his weaknesses besides a x2 to Ground, which is crazy.
I guess Kyogre got the short end of the stick with this deal. Doesn't rain increase Thunder's accuracy to 100%? Poor Kyogre...

I wonder if Air Lock will nullified both of those abilities. I'm assuming yes, considering that's Rayquaza's story role. There won't be something more satisfying than sending one on Groudon and then surfing him to death.
Rayquaza is still the king baby. That's the best news of all.

I guess it is kinda cool for when the two of them are facing off during the main story because they both cancel out each other and it becomes a sorta endless struggle like you'd expect from the pair and I'm sure that's probably what the developers were thinking, but for competitive or just in-game play, Primal Groudon is leagues above Kyogre. Kyogre was definitely my favorite of the two, and still is, but he just can't come close now.
Kyogre being able to cancel out Fire-type attacks doesn't help him much at all when Electric and Grass are both still free to roam. The only benefit I can think of is if his defenses were increased significantly and he can be used to help a Double Battle Rain Team keep their rain going indefinitely if they can keep him alive. That's if his heavy rain becomes regular rain after Primal Kyogre is KO'd or switched out, which I'm assuming is the case.
I'm sure Air Lock will continue to nullify both of their abilities, even in their Primal forms. If not, Rayquaza would lose his main story purpose and I wouldn't be too happy if Primal Rayquaza became a thing; Groudon and Kyogre are cool, but Rayquaza? I think that's a bit overkill.
Regardless, I'm pretty sure both Groudon and Kyogre are already banned in most competitive rule sets anyway and I doubt we'd see 'em used too often in online battles. I might still make a team based around Primal Groudon anyway, for that OP factor. I'm sure Primal Groudon will plow through absolutely everything in-game.

Some bad news was confirmed. There won't be customization for you character. X and Y will NOT be getting a patch for new Megas either.(practically making it obsolete after a single year)

That is disappointing indeed.
