Protip: 4 out of 6 pokemon you named are steel types. Use Infernape/Magnezone.

Just hacked together a UU team. You're right, it's certainly better than Shoddy (Though I wish I could have a more simplified interface).
On another note, the metagame has sure changed from when I last played; Can anybody give a quickie list of the threats in UU since shoddy usage stats from January don't seem to be posted? Thanks.
I'm Currently Running:
Spiker-Lead Omastar - Prolly gonna ditch it since it isn't pulling its weight.
Nasty Plot Spiritomb - Carrying its weight since nobody seems to expect it. Slow, but hits like ton of bricks.
Rock Polish Rhyperior - Carrying its weight. May switch out for DDgatr
A Custom Bulk-Up Technitop with rapidspin and stone-edge. Metagame seems to of shifted enough that it's not as good as it used to be.
Morning-Howl Arc. Another item that used to work great but not anymore.
SD Leafeon. Does what I want it to offensively, but I wouldn't mind sacrificing a little speed for some staying power.
It's a pretty hack-job of a team just meant to test the program out, but despite the problems I'm tempted to try and make something workable out of it. Any tips?

Oh I might try this at one time or another. I was planning to try using Shoddy back when I was playing Heartgold.... but then I just started playing other games and I totally didn't.

Hah! I'd be totally up for doing BL. It'd be like classic UU, 'cept I still couldn't use my trap pass umbreon 'cause OU stole the damn thing. I'm usually on sort of late, like 10 PM-2 AM EST. Got even odds of catching me on the beta server 'round then.
In the mean time, I'll try to find a good replacement for defensive-dance Altaria.

@khane: lol, it's a bit different over there. for BL tier (well tbh it's not an official tier played there, just what some fool player came up with and I happen to loooove) 2 OU pokemon are allowed, the rest are BL and lower.

well, BL pokemon are clearly superior than UU, and because there're too few BL poke around, they decided to let some OU to enter the scene to add a bit of spice to the game.
