Yup, working on my competitive team right now. Don't have the right items, but so far I managed to go 4-3, granted one of them admitted to not bothering with most aspects of competitive battling and one was testing out a UU team and let me battle with my mostly OU team because I had nothing else. Anyways, I think my team is coming along quite nicely.

o my god... there remaking gold and silver. I'm so happy! i loved my Pokemon silver. its gonna be cool having it again. hopefully they add some new Pokemon into Heart gold and, soul silver anyways.. or more evolutions!

I got Blue, gold, crystal, emerald, ruby, sapphire, and pearl. I am importing soulsilver when it comes out. I'm not really into competitive battling, but i have had a team of IV bred, EV trained pokémon with egg moves...then my friend decided it was funny to use his ACTION REPLAY TO FUCK UP MY GAME. I started a new game, and currently have a nice lvl00 dragonite with next to max att and pretty decent speed. Currently leveling my porygon-z (is 71) and have been breeding evves to get a nice umbreon, becaus esweepers alone= instant loss. I need a mixed wall (umbreon) , and am gonna get a blissey and a rhyperior, then a ninjask to baton pass a shitload of speed (and maybe get in a swords dance) to rhyperior! Fuck...did i really type that much text about pokémon?

Hey guys, I've had this idea for a pokemon game for a while: Instead of the boring old turn based action, why not do the battles using "Tales" game style. Here is an example( skip 30-40 seconds from the beginning )
The normal attack could be a pathetic tackle and you could have 4-6 skills per pokemon. I think that would improve the game quite a bit. This game probably wouldn't be on a portable system, with possibly 60-100 hours of gameplay. I would totally buy such a game.

While I love the Tales series (my favorite JRPG series actually), I think that fails to encompass what Pokemon is. Pokemon is a game series that has become based more on tradition rather than innovation. Trying to turn the Pokemon series into an ARPG doesn't seem like a wise idea, and I think more people would be against it than for it.

Wouldn't you buy the game though. It could just be a remake of one of the older games for all I care. The gameplay would be so AWESOME!
