Pokken Fighters/Pokken Tournament

A while ago Nintendo trademarked 2 names, Pokken Fighters and Pokken Tournament, and nothing but the image you see above is known about it at the moment. Heavy speculation of it being a fighting is rampant, and with E3 around the corner, I'm wondering if Nintendo will reveal anything about this game.

If it is indeed a fighting game, what kind of roster do you want to see?
If you have your doubts, what do you think Pokken Fighters might be?

I will edit the OP as more info is released.

I think it would be cool if it turn out to be a fighter.

If it a fighting game i think the roster is only going to be fighting type pokemon.

Guess I'll keep a eye out from any more info.

Turns out it wasn't mere speculations.

Here's the video from the pokemon company.

Planned for arcade release in 2015 in Japan.

It may only be an arcade release for now, but because it is Japan in a few years after the arcade game we could see the game go onto consoles. I think it is a strong possibility because Tekken loves doing that with their series. I cant wait to see what other Pokemon make their roster, maybe Mewtwo, that would be pretty funny.

The only console that game will go on is Wii U.

I'm really looking forward to which Fighting Pokemon they will include in this game. I'm really hoping for some Hearacross and Toxicroak love, that and if they include a Poke similar to a Kazuya, cause God Fists I feel are a must in a Tekken-esque game like this.

I dislike fighters so even with pokemon I don't see anything appealing...Also wasn't pokemon already a turn-based fighting game?

Then this game clearly isn't for you.

No, Pokemon is a turn-based RPG.
Edit: My mistake, I misinterpreted your statement. Either way, Pokemon has never been a fighting game similar to Tekken, etc. in any form, turn-based or not.

OT: This looks pretty cool. With all the different fighting types, the roster has a lot of potential. Also, it seems as though Lucario can Mega-evolve, so I'm wondering what other kind of mechanics they're adding to the game to make it "different". See: Hyrule Warriors and the Dynasty Warriors franchise.

This looks very interesting, but it's definitely incomplete. I wanna see how far this game's development progresses before making a call on whether it's worth buying.

As a Tekken fan I find this intriguing, as a ex pokemon fan, I find this cute.

There's a live stream to a invitational tournament right now on Twitch.

Wii U release (it's already out in Arcades) is set to be released in Spring of 2016.

Forgot to add that it's a global release, which already made me very happy.

And I'm sure we'll get more characters because this isn't like Blazblue Calamity Trigger where the roster will be ridiculously small, they'll add more characters for the console version then add them to the arcade later.
