I agree with most of that review, but I don't find the storyline to be really that engaging. It's more or less just an excuse for Alex to go to different locations and kill the shit out of people. (yes, he can KILL the shit out of people)

I've played it a bit today. As far I'm concerned it's fun! Throwing Cars at helicopters, consuming others in a sick twisted way (and for some reason Tentacle Hentai keeps entering my mind)

however I find it a bit too easy. Busy with plowing down an entire army outpost and barrely lost any life (or maybe I'm just consuming the others too much XD)

It was an awesomely fun game. It took me about 20 hours to complete including doing as many events as I could.

... finished it in 7 hours... no events though now time to play the game seriously with all the side events

Haven't beat the game yet, but gonna finish it tommorow. Damned Helicopter missions...

So I can't get gold in 3 side missions, meh. I also think hammerfist is a fucking useless power once you get blade. I fucking love traveling around the city like I'm the HULK.


Also, last boss pro tip: use critical pain devastator.

Kill? What about the one where they want you to use hammerfist? I can't do shit. It's so useless against people who are spread out.

Anytime they give me glide or sprint missions, it's a guaranteed gold.

Ye I've grown friggin tired of trying to get gold on the hammerfist / kill mission...13 attempts and I only manage to get silver

Though I would rather prefer that then the consume infiltrate military missions, seriously at first they are rather simple and quite fun to do. But as you clear them off they finally becomes almost immpossiable, especially the ones were you're suposed to get inside a base.

Like 3 virus detectors spread around the base and on top of that 2 flying ones that's covering the already existing ones. Though I always manage to disable the one on the roof. But the other two is to close guarded by thoose two flying ones for you to get close, and that for all I know the flying detectors is impossiable to destroy without alerting the soldiers....And once they're alerted they'll continue to spam strike force apaches against you until you're either dead or the time limit runs out. -_-

Mkay. One thing you have to remember is that they will not care if you're disguised and jumping around like a maniac, gliding and shit. Just don't hit anyone.

So you consume the fucker, then you sprint like a mother fuck to the base, but have the disguise on. Use the flying kick on the first flying detector(you're supposed to ruin the disguise, yes). Turn on armor(minimize damage), take out the blade and as fast as possible hack away at the detectors in and around the base(ignore the one on top of the base), while ignoring anything they send after you(also remember that the flying detectors follow you when they have detected you, so that's a way of getting it away from the base). After hacking and slashing is complete, RUN! Get the fuck away from the base and try to get out of the view of the strike team by going behind a building then instantly switching disguises to the military one. Then sprint back to the base and stalk the shit out of the commander following him around trying to stealth consume at any chance you get. After that, well, all you have to do is get into the base before time runs out.

Tis' the reason I completed all the consume missions.

So I just bought this game yesterday, and am presently surprised by it. I haven’t been playing long but I have to say that it’s just good old fun to run around the city and destroy bases. Though I would have to say the story sucks I’m not very far yet, but it seems like just a load of shit that sucks ass. So far I’m almost completely ignoring the story and those people you absorb that tell you absolutely nothing are starting to piss me off; because it’s like I’m getting pieces to a story but that story sucks and I’m not interested.

Though despite all that I would give it a buy I’m at least glad I picked this over Overlord 2.

Personally I didn't think the story was that horrible bro. I found all 131 web nodes and watched it all again to get this movie like story telling feeling.

I'm a little farther in the story and the back story from Idaho is alright I still say that Alex's story sucks and I have no real want for him to survive as a character. Though not that I hate him I just don't care, and I feel as I should like him but I just don't.

i finished the game...and just for fun i play some side events especially the military consume...and after the hard level it unlocks a secret mission...

There's also the tactic I use when the time limit starts to go down, which is to run in, grab the guy I'm supposed to consume, then get the fuck out of there (all in my Alex form). As soon as I'm not being shot at by rockets (like on top of a nearby building), I just consume him, drop down someplace where the helicopters can't see me, and change back. Sprint to the base and you're good.

You're forgetting the part where the detectors, late in the game, rape your disguise dare you try to enter. Detectors are the problem.

MAAAN, I REALLY WANNA PLAY THIS GAME. Btw, is it just for one or two players? i think i read that it was for 2, or was it wrong? please could someone tell me?

Yeah, but those things chase you when you initially run in. :P

Plus I usually drop down from the top of the base, making the period of time I'm visible to the detectors as small as possible.

Gliding challenges are easy. You just use the airdash to restart your glide when you start dropping.
