Quarantine2019

I've been wandering the streets alone, picking off lone zeds. I've luckily have not been infected once this round, though I expect that'll change as I can't seem to find any non-ruined buildings, though I did at least find one with doors. I sleep safe for an hour or so, and move on to a new hideout. Maybe if I'm lucky, I'll find a portable radio on the ground.

Yea, our old HQ got owned. I'm currently in St. Mary's hospital to the right of it. I found Ramsus wandering the streets to the west of it and cured him. I'm a medic so just come here for some heals and if I search the place and find an antidote I might be able to cure.Oh that was you? Thanks man.

Zombies have put the hurt on us this round. Just look at the population stats, their dead/living(unliving, whatever) outnumber the humans' side by about a 100.
I think a lot of it has to do with the infection skill and starting off with a 1000 SP. Practically every zombie has leveled infection.

St. Mary's, the top portion is about to get hit by zombies. There were 5 or 6 standing outside of it. Managed to kill 1, but ran low on EP.

I believe this is the way it should be ... zombies infect people, if they didn't they'd just be stupidly slow and weaponless for no reason

that's the common reason
but the real reason is zombies have the bonus 1000 SP too + meta-gaming. all the zeds class up TOO early in the game, well some noob citizen need some normal zombies to level up.
and they zombies only one mission: destroy anything.
while humans must
-protect resource buildings
-REbuild ruined buildings
-complete the vure
-slow down the zombie horde
see that.
playing for humans is like a "normal difficulty"
playing for zombies is like a "easy difficulty"
and to make it harder humans MUST work together, while zombies can just "eat people alone"
and look at how the conversions work.
zombies are easy to infect someone,
while a human inject is still hard only 30% hit rate and the antidote can still fail to cure him.

...I'm not saying get rid of infection. But when every zombie starts off with it, there's close to no chance of avoiding infection when you encounter a zombie (unless they aren't attacking you for whatever reason).
Normally they would have to level a bit first before they could afford putting points into infection, and might even prioritize other things instead. But with a 1000 points a high level infection is easily obtained as well as a class that allows them to utilize it.

Humans are not using thier 1000 points as effectively? if all the zombies do infection, all the humans could just as easily do resist infection and play as they always had, because of the massive amount of humans who never did resist infection humans are getting zeded by the second. I was one of the humans who wanted to focus on "healing" skills... I could heal anyone if I was a human but it just so happens I can't heal myself lol.
I am at The beer store, I am a smart zombie named Seere, if you inject me I can work towards injections for others .... or keep infecting everything haha

raising infections skills is a waste of SP
lvl 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 = 750 SP
eff 1% + 2 % + 5% + 7% + 9% = +24%
zombie infection lvl (as a smart zombie)
lvl 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 = 1100 SP
eff 2% + 4% + 6% + 8% + 10% = 30 %
lvl 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 = 750 SP
eff 1% + 2 % + 5% + 7% + 9% = +24%

Smart zombies have a 10% chance of infecting, Humans who skilled into it have a 9% chance of resisting. Most zombies have a 6% infect chance but humans are getting infected by the fast zombies because they need to spend 3 points on it like the zombies are.
Dr. Fakku just killed me when I had 50 EP so I chased him down and eated him :(

Game confuses me.
And I still have yet to figure out how to level up as a citizen.
Maybe I suck at these kinds of games.

this round sure has been crazy.Do u like the start with a 1000 xp/exp? i don't know, but i do know i have been killed and switched sides so many time i don't know what to do.

Yes we started this round with 1000 sp. Illumi you should kill zombies, heal people, fix stuff, or revive zombies.
Also anyone talking about the effects of the 1000 sp should bring that conversation to the actual Quarantine forums. It wont do any good here, the people running the game wont see it.
On a different subject it seems like those using the forum the I made (http://ramsus.proboards.com/index.cgi) are in favor of us having our own zombie group as well. What do you guys think and what should we call it. All I've thought of so far is Fakkuzoms.

I would love us to have a zombie group :D I am a very experianced smart zombie, I am already rallying complete strangers to my cause and now since I have eat brains it takes 2 humans EP to kill me.

I got turned into a zombie and I just spent 50 energy looking for a building with reinforced doors and didn't find one. Didn't see a single citizen. I'm guessing this is game over =X

Yeah this round is pretty much done. Sometime later today I'll make our zombie group. I assume calling it the Fakkuzoms is ok with people, I'll make sure to check back in here before I make the group in case anyone comes up with something better though. I was thinking that since the Namur Hills area was our home base that what we should do is all head there at the beginning of the next round and completely demolish the place before doing anything else. This would also give me the ability to actually recruit everyone. (This plan is working under the assumption that everyone will be playing as zombies next round, I know I'm going to.)
