So, a prequel to the "erotic themed" (although, mis-advertized, apparently) turn based strategy game of 2010. This game, which is available this year on both the PS3 and the Xox360 in the states is to be released in April. Apparently, there is more "free will" for your character, allowing you to explore towns, and talk to your scantly clad ladies. The "Soul Breeding" (buttsechs) is back! Mate with your most loved heroine for generations of killing, allowing the inheritance of items, XP and other game related goodies. From the critically-acclaimed developer of niche RPG games, Idea Factory, Record of Agarest War Zero will be available for the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system and the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft. "First and foremost," says Ben Bateman, Localization Editor, Aksys Games, "I would like to address the question I know all of you are asking. The answer is yes, Santa Claus does exist. The answer to that question is also yes: We will be releasing Record of Agarest War Zero on a disc for both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 system. The portraits during conversations are now animated, which is nice, and the addition of a feature called, tentatively, 'Free Intention' allows you to explore towns and meet with members of your party, giving you more control over your relationship(s) with the ladies. I haven't played the first, but it looks at least worth trying... Although even the American version the VO is in Japanese, with English subs... Absolutely stupid if you ask me. Also, to me, turn based shouldn't be on a console, I don't have a 5th (I think) gen console, 42inch plasma and a sound system to wait for my turn... There is no super naughty edition. This means that I do not want, cannot want, or even know how to want this game... Great, now I have to find my mouse pad and pillow case (They fit)

Well, Ima get the game twice morrow. For the PS3 then for the 360. Im going to keep the PS3 one in factory sealed status, while I open the 360 one and play it.

Well, just beat the first (a slightly disappointing ending) and FAR from the "true path" (I was as light as can be). Oh well, gonna pop in Zero pretty soon here and get my game on!

Unfortunately Zero is not acknowledging the fact I beat RoAW, anyone else having this? What do you get anyway if you do load a cleared file? (unless it needs to be the perfect path)

Extra Mode
If the players have Clear Data from the first game,it is possible to load it and unlock the Door to the Future after some progress. Through the door, players can access the maps from the first game and unlock items and characters from the first game. Leo, his descendants, the heroines, Ellis and Dyshana are unlocked free. However, other playable characters must be downloaded from the PlayStation Store.

Ah well, nothing critical, it just won't acknowledge my completed games (they have a star next to it) only the unfinished ones show up, go figure.

I have to say this game ignited my love Agarest once again. SO much so that Im grabbing the Agarest 2 LE off YJA. And now Im seriously considering about obtaining this particular awesome but overjacked up price daki....

So does anyone know how long this game is, hour wise? I have know idea how long I spent on the first, but it was a LONG time, and knowing how this one there are only two generations, I expect (but hope not) for it to be shorter.

I bought the collectors edition when it came out... but haven't touched it yet because months ago I didn't finish the first one and saw you could import the saves. finally finished the 5th gen and I'm in the boundary plane as I want to start on zero. this game is so time consuming and grindy.
