Resident Evil: Revelations 2

I'm surprised to see nobody has made a thread about this yet, so I'll do the honors. Is anyone playing this game? At the time of this post, 3 of the 4 episodes have been released. The final episode will be released on March 18, along with the full retail version in North American regions. I personally haven't played it yet. I'm waiting for the full physical release.

Definitely not a good game as far as I can see from Youtube gameplay (been following it since episode 1). I also hear that the PC port of this is full of bugs, at least judging from Steam reviews.
Guess one can't milk a franchise indefinitely.

I've barely kept up with this thing honestly. I think the disc version comes out either this week or the next so I'll pick it up then.

I've only seen episode 1 myself, and as far as I can tell, it seems like a fairly decent game. I think it's a step up from the original Revelations, at least. I didn't particularly like the design of the Ooze monsters, and all the side characters felt extremely forgettable. At least Revelations 2 has actual zombies, and Moira and Natalia are interesting as characters. I also think the co-op is more befitting a horror series than RE5/6's co-op. The only design decision I feel is terrible is Natalia's hearing, which ruins the suspense and tension that would normally come with turning a corner or entering a new room. The new stealth combat makes sense from a design standpoint, but it's a bit unnecessary when you can mow through most zombies easily (that and the abundance of ammo will hopefully be fixed on higher difficulties).
