Resistance:Fall of man
is the playstation 3's 600 dollar price tag worth it?

Has anyone other than me played resistance and if so do you think it is a good enough game for a 600$ console.

R:FOM was the biggest waste of my time. No game on the PS3 can justify a $600 price tag. Especially the PS3.

I have not been impressed with the Playstation 3 at all yet, hopefully it gets some games that can compete with the Wii

The only reason I would even think of paying $600 for the PS3 is Metal Gear Solid 4 and Devil May Cray 4
and they're not coming out anytime soon
so hopefuly by th time they come out the price will be droped

Well personaly i think resistance has impresive visuals fun missions and outrageous weapons it's an awesome game, good anough for a 600 dollar console? in my opinion it is.but that game alone isnt enough to make me want to spend 600 bucks on a console besides if i bought the ps3 i would have no money left to buy a game wich kinda defeats its purpose.

I tried to like the wii....but I really can't play with the nub stick. I can't help thinking it's a console designed for women. The graphics aren't that impressive and the controller is not that responsive (there is a noticeable delay). It doesn't even have a DVD player built into it!
If I was going to buy a new system, it would be the playstation 3. The controllers also have the wireless capabilities, but are not limited to only 2 buttons and a pad. It also plays high def, and can be plugged into a computer monitor.

I have played the Wii and I believe that it is an amazing console and should be recognized as such. I mean the virtual console alone could bring a lot of gamers who love nostalgia to buy it. The Wii will be a bit glitchy at first, but give it some time and it will be realized as one of the most amazing comebacks in gaming history(by that I mean the gamecube sucked extremely, and made nintendo lose a large chunk of the home console market). The PS3 may have better graphics but it does not have the software yet to be liable for its $600 price tag. It is starting to bounce back, and I will admit that I am eventually going to buy a PS3, and I will probally enjoy it a lot, but until then, I will be enjoying my Wii and my Zelda, so so far, the Wii has my vote.
