We weren't overpowered :!: *whistle* Well maybe a bit... But Vasari shouldn't have any problems at disposing Advent fleets with their annoying phase missile tech's.
Regarding Turn Based games... I liked the Total War series pretty much. Could be pretty fast paced compared to most others :)

:!:
Nah, the Vasari strong point was their capital ships powers. The phase missles are good though especially against the Guardian types for Advent... >.> The only turn based I could somewhat stand was Civilization III and that got old after a while too...

Well all capital ship powers are quite amazing. Advent just requires a bit more micro'ing than the rest ^^.
Regarding Civilization III, that was a good game though it could drag on way too long and there were no "RTS scenes".
Rome was way better when it came to that in my opinion. Having RTS battles whenever armies clashed was really nice. Also being able to view your cities in the battle mode was cool aswell :D

In order of how much I like them:
JRPGs
Strategy
MMORPGs
Platformers
Fighting
I may play a little other stuff, but I can't stand racing, FPS and sports games.

Hmmm... that would be RPGs, mostly...
I'm actually open to try any kind of game but till now i've most enjoyed RPGs, especially older ones, with nice storyline and real (i hope you get me) characters.

Oi, I feel sad and pathetic now. roughly 98% of the games mentioned in this post I have either a) bought or b) rented and beat them. I think its time to commit sepuku via standing in the harsh sun light.
I would have to say hands down my favorite genre is FPS followed by RPG, then strategy (NOT RTS).
For a while, I was really into COD4, but hackers are so prevalent on servers anymore I'm tired of fighting them. It's still funny to recall that I'd have a better score than a hacker most of the time and when I looked at Youtube, the showcase hackers had endgame point spreads comparable to me on a so-so day.

Favorite Genres would be Strategy, FPS, Rpg, Action/Adventure.
I'll play almost anything except non extreme-spots games.
I'm sorry but if you could seriously release a 25mb download and have the exact same product each year it's a waste of money.
Although I do love EA BIG street sports titles.

I love RPGs specially the long ones that makes you play the usual 60-100 hours for the story only then another 100 hours for completion, then SRPGs for the same reasons then RTS specially when I play with my friends...
I like action specially hack and slash kinds to take out some stress(LOL) and for fighting games I like 2D kinds than the 3D ones, my most fave fighting games are Guilty Gear, Melty Blood, Fate/stay Night and Touhou SWR...
I don't like sports games(although I play NBA live with my friends from time to time), racing games(except for Mario Kart kind of games) and FPS coz playing FPS for a long time makes me dizzy...
