Shin Koihime Musou and Koihime Musou whats the difference?
1
I've seen both these uploaded on this site, but whats the difference between the two? I could never really tell just from the descriptions (haven't played them) Is one a more recent version and have more features? Or are they two totally different stories and characters? (names aside)

The differences lies in the content of the story.
in Koihime Musou, The protagonist who was living in our same modern hole, got sucked into a time portal connected to the timeline of the Three Kingdoms. But it chooses originality rather than authenticity, by allowing the protag to recruit and talk to all the characters that are available, even the one that's supposed to be dead historically. And in the final scenario, you can choose to take someone back to your time.
In Shin, Pretty much started off the same, But, it's now the protag must choose a factions, Where you can only choose one per play. Aside from the obvious more characters it's story follows closely to the historical story line. where some of the characters actually die in the process. and the ending is the protag enjoys his life in the three Kingdoms timeline.
jusy an FYI, Moeshouden, the final series and fandsik. IT's stories about all 52 Characters are fighting over the protagonist Love. in turns it into a harem love comedy.
So, the real differences is at the originality of the story. Koihime chooses to be original, while Shin chooses to follow closely to the history.

Thank god for the lack of Ryofu death...wish MangaGamer would sell enough copies so I could finally hear her voice though...the small amount she talks. Bought the game and the waiting sucks.
Helpful thread though, was wondering what exactly all the differences were.
