I was going to say that there was already a topic on this but then I remembered that it was buttfucked out of existence, like so many posts before it.
Anyway, I'm definitly looking forward to this game. I've heard that they hired Graham Joyce, an award winning British author, to write the story of the game. But I'm even more anxious to see some images, to see if John Carmack was bullshiting us or not that Doom 4 will be three times prettier than Rage. After seeing how he managed to put a working build of Rage on an ipad, I'm already convinced that he's some sort of tech-conjuring wizard from another dimension.

In regards to the trailer, Id Software announced that they were going to talk about Doom 4 was going to be discussed at Quakecon 2010, unfortunately it wasn't.
I think it is safe to put our trust in Id, they always push the limit in some ways and even today, I find myself surprised how Rage looks and how Doom 3 looked way back in 2004. Id and Rockstar are almost similar, always pushing the limit on games and they're some of the best developers out there, I daresay.
