So in Fallout New Vegas...

I appear to have fucked myself. I am stuck in Vault 13(?) with a full rad bar and with my current save I walk 10 steps and fall over dead. I might have overestimated the amount of radaways I had. After extensive research, I have found no console commands that clear away rad or commands that give radaway. Anyone know if there's a way, or am I stuck in here forever? Does god mode work?

Hah, that place is a mutherfucker but boy does it have good loot. You might wanna swing by the armory when you get the appropriate amount of RadAway since it's + 5 rad/s in that room.

Go into console.
Type in
player.additem (base id) (amount desired)
The base id for Radaway is 00015167
so it would be
player.additem 00015167 5 (or however many you want to use)
If you want to check for other console commands, here is the ones for New Vegas. You can check the baseid for items on their respective pages.

I usually carry at least one piece of armor or clothing that has high rad resist, like the Space Suit in case I have to go into an irradiated area (like the underground bunker in The Fort)
But yea when it comes to games like Fallout generally you should keep multiple save files. They give you 1000 save slots for a reason.
