Sonic The Hedgehog (PS3)

So I purchased the Sonic the hedgehog for the ps3 for 20 bucks (19.99)
Well because it was cheap. And I know it's bad, I've seen the reviews and such, etc. And wow, it is bad! :shock:

Yeah, me too. But I find finishing it kind of hard, I don't like how he runs...

I've loved Sonic since I watched those saturday morning cartoons and his freedom fighting crew, (fuck the establishment :?: ) but I haven't liked any of his games since Sonic Adventure 2.

There has only ever been one good Sonic game. Sonic Adventure for the Dreamcast. Sonic has always been a stupid idea with the exception of that one game.

@ purifier:See where I'm going with this? How can a single game in a series be good, while the other parts of the series that function on the same principles, like SA2, be stupid?

Anyway, I've never gotten around to playing Sonic 2006 (hell, I haven't even played Rush or Rush Adventure yet). Odds are I'll rent it eventually, if only so that I can legitimately give my opinion on it.

Sega should be ashamed for releasing that game. You should ask for a refund. Anything you can get is good.

Meh, even though I knew it was bad, I enjoy playing sonic games. But I never thought it would be THAT bad. I just wish they would have never strayed from Adventure and adventure 2.

The grinding is ok, but he runs horribly, lotsa gliches, etc. and wtf's up with tails? I hate the noise when his tails flutter. :?

Hmm.. I never really liked sonic games, though I played a few of them in the past. So really, I'm not surprised if it seemed like crap. I guess sonic just isn't the game for me.

ditto, they lost the originality and most importantly the fast action based gameplay that we loved when they switched to 3d... TT__TT

Yeah, I got for the same reasons: cheap, love Sonic, but knew it was crap. Seriously, was the damn thing even tested? :? I kept on falling off (and through) walls when running on them, and don't get me started on the irritating Silver fights UGH!!! :evil:

The only good thing about it, I think, is playing as Shadow. Silver's psychic attacks are pretty cool. But overall, it's a total crapfest.

After Sonic went from 2D --> 3D, he was no longer good....
We'll always have our memories of him when we were children...hold them tight child...

wen so many say its nad you got to belive them if its just a few assholes then you go for it. :shock: you just wasted 20dollars that you are not going to get back.
