Soul Calibur IV

I love the game, but sometimes I hate playing online. Too many cheap players, and more than half of them use Cervantes. I mean c'mon, if you're gonna use him, at least learn more than two fucking moves.

True, but I don't play to get a decent rank, I play to have fun. Where is the fun in fighting people who spam moves just so they can win? I congratulate the ones who beat me by using cool tactics and moves. Cheap players were whooping my ass for a good minute, but I have developed my fighting stategy and my win ratio is getting better, I just gotta keep at it I guess. I'm still trying to get used to the speed difference between SC and Tekken though...not to mention the controls.

i just got the game yesterday and i have to say WOW. short story mode thou. character creation is awesome, online play is awesome too. and the apprentice is rigged.

He does a good job of getting his opinion across at the expense of everybody. I think politicians could learn a thing or two from him. I think the only good review he has ever given was from a bargain-bin computer zombie game or something.

playing soul calibur and the tower is fucking hard as hell then when you beat that you still have to decend rediculous...

every one iv played against onlie for sc4 spams one over two moves when they start to lose and it sux cause im not that good at guard impacts. people should learn how to play the game if they play online...

Dude same for you. If they spam 1 or 2 moves then learn to counter their attacks. Most people actually do this to toy with you because they think you are a noob. If you lose then you prove their point. Right now Cervantes is that character that exists to spam 1 or 2 attacks to own people. It's the equal to brawl's Metaknight. Learn to play for yourself, not them. If you know these tricks, then good for you, but if you keep falling for them then it's your own fault.

But it's not as deadly as Mr. Game & Watch's bacon flip move. Seriously, I can get my cousins really pissed off by just jumping around and hitting them with bacon the entire time.

psssh, bacon move is nothing. Rarely do the hits actually aim towards the intended target unless very closs. Play one of the space animals and just counter with reflector or spam projectiles back. In the end you can just walk towards and perfect shield the attacks and grab the bastard and start performing simple chain grabs. MK is annoying because the tornado is just a irritation that can cause massive percentage build up after a while. Sure you usually can air dodge out of it after the first few hits but it is still annoying. 10-25% is pretty f*cken gay. So in the end usually just play Marth against MK players. down B Counter against tornado...yeah got to off topic now.

So anybody going to any SC4 tournies?
