Wow there no topic on this game really? That a little sad but now is a good as time as any to make one. So the game has been out for about 3 weeks and a friend was nice and got it for me a few days ago so we can play and i have to say this one is really good. I'm like 4-5 Hours in to the story so far and i like the story for it. Me and my friend have been playing a lot of The "Spies vs. Mercs" in it and it's really fun to play and i hope the multiplayer keeps going for a good time. So for people playing it how are you guys/girls liking it? what do you like and not like about it? Did you like the story? and have you play the "Spies vs. Mercs and if you have do you like that it's back? As a long time fan of the games and a fan books i am just loving it and i can't wait to see how it ends. but if there is one thing i don't like about it is that Michael Ironside is no longer the Voice of Sam fiher.

Since it's not fresh in my mind, I'll make this quick:
As a stealth game, it's decent. The "press button to win" system is trash (as well as the ability to mark people), the Assault playstyle is designed to make CoD kiddies feel like they're playing properly, anything below "realistic" is casual mode, and the detection meter is annoying. While Ubi Toronto made many compromises, they managed to maintain the essence of Splinter Cell. The level design is impressive and allows for multiple approaches, the social interactions between missions were appreciated, and most importantly, the thing plays like a proper SC game (assuming you don't exploit tagging and know how to stealth). Like I said, it's decent; 6/10. The game, as well as its story, are nothing special. Chaos Theory remains the best in the series.
On a related note, does anyone know a youtuber called DSP, or DarkSydePhil? He made an LP of Blacklist where he acted like his usual self, so in the spirit of all the other montage videos that have been made about him, I made a 2 hour "This is how you DON'T play Splinter Cell: Blacklist" montage, ridiculing the fuck out of the guy. If you'd like to get a taste of why people shit on him, watch the intro.

I just got to the end of Blacklist and i have to say overall i love the game. I love the story, going to back to the old gameplay and keeping some of the new things from conviction and reworking them. i really love it and i give it a 9.5/10 but that just me.
