Sprites or 3D for Pokemon?
Sprites or 3D?

What do you prefer? I like the sprite system for generations 1-3 better than the 3D system that is used for generations 4+.

I found it awesome that they slowly integrated 3D into their games. Now the next game will be full 3D.
I'm fine with everything, Pokemon will be Pokemon.

For a tradicional RPG, everything 2D.
For a game designed for just the fightings (e.g. Pokemon Stadium): most everything 3D, but somethings like the trainers can be 2D.
I did not fully enjoy Pokemon Coliseum, I think it would have been better 2D, top-down game rather a full 3D game; But the mechanic of catching other trainers Pokemon was though.

I don't mind either way. While sprites have their own charm, 3D models have their own as well. It depends on the execution. I haven't seen any videos of battles, so I can't really say anything about Pokemon's 3D modeling, but I hope that Game Freak does it well.

I'm alright with both but as someone who grew up with sprites they'll always hold my preference.me too ever since they first made Pokemon RED, BLUE, & YELLOW,
even if I play the newer Pokemon games they make today
I always find time to playback the original pixelated games I played before
