Stacey's Mom (Real Video and then AMV)

I got the game a few days ago and its absolutely stunning, with it's visual, weapon system, and plot; anyone with a 360 owes it to themselves to pick it up. The game is one of the best coming out this year I recommend it over Halo 3. Every choice you make in the game has signifcant results, and I believe it has over 20 different endings, not to sure on this, but that is what I have heard

Acctually it only has two endings, and the only choice you make is weather to harvest or save the little sisters. Still a great game, but after you get the endings theres not much that you would go back and play again to do. I kinda wish I had just rented it.

I got the PC version a couple days ago. I can only run it on the lowest settings but it still looks better than any other game I've managed to get my computer to run. As for the endings, right now I'm on easy mode (I don't play a lot of FPS's) and I'm saving the little sisters, but I plan on playing again on normal and harvesting them.

This happens when you harvest instead of save Little Sisters
-
You pretty much take all the adam in Rapture turning you into a monster, conquer the city, then use a sub to return to the surface where its implied you go on to conquer the world.

It's a very solid game, but I can't really see myself playing through it again for minute changes in equipment/tonics or a different ending. No form of co-op or multiplayer really kills going through it again.

Really good game this is, though I found it rather short. (Bought on Saturday, finished the next day) Finished on Easy and didn't save all the little sisters.
Currently playing through it again on medium and saving all of the little sisters I come across.

i was thinking about getting it because a gaming magazine i get gave it a 10 out of 10. so i dl'ed the demo off x-box live and i thought it seemed stupid and kinda hard (ya i know you come back right after you die).
if you think it's that great i might reconsider and get it.. or atleast rent it

jake2847 your best bet is to rent it. Most people can finish the game in a day, and there not much to warrant a second play through.

hmm, in a day? That must be soem pretty harcore gamin. I'm playin it on hard atm, and it does take time to progress i find. Plus the different plasmid combos should give it at least 2 runs through (i've only collected like 5 atm tho).
If you've got a high end system (talkin PC here), the game is pretty goddamn stunning, although it is BUGGY! They didn't polish it off completely, so there are ongoing sound issues (pretty bad), voice/subtitle sync issues (annoyin) and if ur using dx10, u ain't gonna have any antialiasing.
All in all, great game (so far at least). But i'd say if u don't need a gamin fix straight away, i'd wait for a patch. Definitely worth a run through tho!

I enjoyed BioShock for the PC, but I can't play an FPS game on the 360 or PS3. I need a Wiimote or a keyboard and mouse. The whole move-with-one-analog-stick-and-aim-with-the-other thing doesn't work for me. Well, I can manage, but it's not nearly as comfortable or natural as keyboard and mouse.
I'm now interested in Dead Space, but I need a demo or something.

I'm Nerco bumping this tread because i think this game is EXTREMLY underrated!
It really needs more attention.

I don't wanna hear about your mom... -__-
What makes this game different from another game out there is that "this game makes you think", not just tactically but REALLY think, about the plot, Rapture, really any thing regarding the game.
This is to you guys/girls who don't wanna play this because it's "scary".
First of all this game isn't really scary (not like F.E.A.R), you may *jump* a couple of times but that doesn't happen that frequently (and i have completed this game about 16 times and i've only jumped 5 times)
Back to the game.
The story is like no other game you've ever played, it's influenced a lot from Atlas Shrugged, but that's only a good thing.
And the game does a perfect job to mix in Atlas Shrugged into Rapture!
What really took me was the philosophy, most games nowadays is just run and gun action and few times does any of these games have any good plot but this game even got philosophy (yes, some shooter got som philosophy but that's mostly "Don't leave your friends behind" and "You cover my ass i cover your ass")
The one character that stand out from the crowd is Andrew Ryan, the creator of Rapture, he is Amazing!
He got everything a character should have personality, a motive etc.
Call of dutys/battlefields characters, personality *None*, Motive *Start WW3*
And Atlas is a perfect counterpole to Ryan.
