Steam Holiday Sale 2012 - 2013

That time of year again, what'd you all pick up so far? what do you plan/want to pick up.

I'm waiting on the good daily deals. It's good practice to not make any impulse purchases on the first day of the sale, as most can be gotten at even lower prices if you're patience enough.

I'll see if they have anything I would want [kinda a picky gamer]

My wallet is ready, might buy Mirrors edge or Deus Ex.

If you were thinking of buying any Bethesda titles, hold the fuck up. A legit UK site is selling Steam codes to 11 games inc. Dishonored, Fallout 3/NV, Brink, Skyrim for $30. Not sure how that holds up but I'm pretty sure it's still cheap. Haven't checked if they accept foreign orders, but you'd assume so for codes. p.s. I am helping, not advertising

p.p.s. the site is struggling under the weight of traffic, but I have managed to load it several times, keep at it.

This song pretty much sums up how I feel about steam as a whole.

As long as the games aren't region locked they should be accepted by Steam; if they are at most you may have to route your connection through a Russian or UK VPN in order to activate them in America.

Doesn't matter any more; it was a price glitch, and so many people bought it that they ran out of codes.

I got Natural Selection 2 also.. but there aren't many people playing. :/

I got borderlands and psychonauts

waiting for some other stuff to drop.

So far I've got Deponia, The Secret of Monkey Island, Monkey Island 2, Mirror's Edge, Quantum Conundrum and Dear Esther. All for less than €20.

Well I wanna get Mirrors Edge (Hopefully its going to be in Flash Sales)
Also THQ Pack, I wanna get into the War hammer universe. See if its any good.

Nabbed FEAR, The Walking Dead, STALKER pack, Dragon Age: Origins (have it on 360 w/o DLC) and Spec Ops so far. If XCOM, Far Cry 3, Little Inferno or Bloodlines get big discounts they're as good as bought.

Well, I didn't actually buy it on Steam but I got Scribblenauts Unlimited for $7.49 plus tax on Amazon yesterday and it activates on Steam. Then I also bought a Wii U Deluxe w/Nintendo Land and New Super Mario Bros U today. So I'm pretty much broke now.
