With so many game coming out in the last 2 - 3 months. And being a hardcore gamer, are you nearly going insane & running out of money because there's just too many Triple A games worth playing coming out lately? ( DS & PsP games not included )

I know what you mean Yushi, I'll of spent around $460 in about a month or two on games.

It would of been nice if they released some of these during the summer when there was nothing but shit to play.

After I bought S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky I was really dissapointed...

I'm still buying last gen games so don't even get me started on all the new stuff coming out. I'm seriously falling behind here.

Also, my wallet has been pretty empty these last few months. Right now, I only have enough for two games. Damn, i seriously need a job.

I know exactly how you feel man. The same thing happend last year and I totally missed out due to being poor. This year I'm well prepared though. I have roughly $500 worth of pre-orders for the next couple of months. Quite the hefty price, but well worth it.

I hope you guys don't hate on me. But all games that are released on PC I downloaded them. FryCry 2, Fallout 3 & World of Goo. I'm usually not a supporter of torrenting games, but i just want to play them all! It gives me the chance to save money too -.-

But games i trully am hyped about *cough* L4D * cough* highly deserves my money! And i'm finally starting work in a few weeks. Can start going on a spending spree anytime soon.

Nope, dont got worries there! Only game i'm buying on that list is Valkyria Chronicles, and umm.. thats it. Might buy Lich King but doubtable.

Hey, Bioshock was a great game.

It had a really shitty ending, but it was still a great game. Saints Row 2 was fucking madhouse; that was what GTA4 should have been, not that realistic edgy crap it is now.

Bioshock was good on 360, for the ps3? feh, w/e i already have it.

I'll take shitty graphics over shitty gameplay anyday. GTA4 felt like a polished turd. Saints Row 2 reminded me exactly of the shitty graphics PS2 GTA's. Which were the fun ones.

Besides, EDF 2017 was fucking boss and it had plastic graphics.

i prefer to have both, a lack of one or the other often shows laziness on the part of the designers and programmers, i tprevents one from becoming immersed in the game itself.

this all coming from the standpoint of a designer, ie, me.

both of which also detract from the original, intended immersion of the game. this is one very large flaw in both design and programming. if you have an awesome system but lame graphics, less people will buy it. if you have awesome graphics but a lame system, more people will buy it than the latter, but still not as much as it could be. you tend to work with a lot of imaginary numbers and surveys of testers and whatnot, overall, the process is very tedious.

I don't think a game needs a big budget to be a good game, is all I'm saying. But I suppose it's all matter of taste.

But you cant have your pie and eat it too. Only a VERY VERY handful of games consists of both great graphics and gameplay. Your collection must be VERY small. Many developers arent lucky to impletement both. Doesnt mean that they are lazy except for EA lol.

Agreed. Look at Persona 3. I love that game more than any other current gen RPG that I have played, and it certainly didn't have the best graphics.

On topic, having only recently my PS3, there are too many games that I need now. Mirror's edge, Farcry 2, COD WaW, and the other new game that gets added to my list every day. It was simple back when all I had was a wii and nothing good ever came out :lol:
